Awful service and treatment
I was stood waiting to be checked in for about 5 minutes whilst i could hear the staff chatting in the staff room, in the end a dentist came in and found me waiting, booked me and then asked the staff to man the reception desk.
The dentist i saw was very rough and after a routine check up , scale and polish i was left with a very sore mouth. I understand that after a scale and polish your mouth can be tender but mine was so sore i could not bear to chew. This had thankfully subsided by the end of the next day. On several occasions i cried out in pain during the treatment, this did not change the dentist approach.
I was pushed into signing up for the dental plan but when i was finally given the full details i decided against it, explaining i was not happy to set up a rolling direct debit.
I will be looking elsewhere for a dentist and will not be returning.

Clifford and Karen are a fantastic duo - Couldn't recommend them more highly
Clifford, the dentist I have had a few appointments with, is FANTASTIC! His 'bedside' manner is great. Before you lie back in the chair he talks through what is going to happen in a way that is really easy to understand. I hate it went dentists ask you questions once you have loads of stuff in your mouth - but they do none of that at Centre for Dentistry.
Karen, the lead nurse who has been at all my appointments, is so lovely. I had my first appointment (an emergency appointment on a Sunday that I booked easily) and I was really upset due to a family circumstance and was a total mess and crying when I turned up. But Karen couldn't have been more kind and caring, she held my hand during the appointment and made me feel like everything was okay - I really appreciated it, although was too upset to express it then. Karen even gave me a pack of tissues when I left.
Clifford and Karen are great - if you don't like the dentist you should go to see these two, their manner is so caring, kind and professional.
Also, when I had a filling recently they take a picture of your tooth to show you, which was a little gross, but I really appreciate that they take the time to show you want it happening and to talk through things.

I am really happy about the care I get from CFD, they are caring, attentive, professional, and supportive.
Starting from the front desk to doctors and hygienists, everyone smiles and are so polite.
Everything around is sparkling clean.
Really highly recommended.

I was full of trepidation that going to…
I was full of trepidation that going to Sainsbo's to get my teeth fixed would be mistake, but I gave it a go on a friend's recommendation. Shouldn't have doubted it really, when you think about it they're a big business and are there to make a profit but without skinning you so that you keep coming back. And I will. Good service at competitive prices and the Greek girl I go to see is just tops. All the staff are really nice and I can smile again without being paranoid! They are all qualified dental surgeons after all eh! Brilliant and recommend.

I was Petrified! But anything is possible!
I was very nervous and apprehensive and had issues even walking into the dentist but from the outset Claire put me at ease I was able to speak to Lucas and the team and look around the surgery before making my initial appointment. I have had previous bad experiences which made my anxiety worse. However Lucas and the team were fantastic and professional and made me feel at ease. Everything was explained fully and often repeated and all done at my own pace and if something didn’t work for me we discussed options and found a solution and way around it I amazed myself, I wasn’t expecting to be able to achieve a temporary filling but left with one! I am a lot more positive about future treatment and with time and support Lucas and his team I can hopefully achieve this.
If your petrified I would highly recommend going it is worth it.

Fantastic dentist
Fantastic dentist. I have recently registered with this dentist and have nothing but good experience with them. I have never had such a lovely dentist who goes above and beyond with making me feel comfortable and explaining what is being done.

I went to dentist as a nervous patient . I needed a tooth removed . I never felt a thing the dentist was patient and made sure the area was totally numb. After attending other dentists there is no way that can compete . Professional and calm . I won’t go anywhere else.

Nearly Perfect!
Great service, better than any NHS dentist I've been with, just disappointing that I was the first appointment of the day but still 22 mins late. Other than that all good.

Phobia - gone
The difference between my 1st and latest visit have been astounding. On my 1st visit I was a nervous wreck, pounding heart, sweaty palms, feeling sick, you know what I mean. Now it's walk in sit down and just get on with it. Fabulous staff made my phobia disappear. What more can I say.
