I spoke to Arran in the letting team for advice on a rental property. He gave really safe advice - super appreciated.

I rented from Centro represented by Arran Leggett a high ceiling studio with 2 big windows and a chimney! I was worried about heating but when I was told that was provided by landlord ( R. Kidd) alongside hot water I was hooked and did not asked more questions. I moved and first thing I noticed was the mould on the windows sealant! Alongside other issues 2 fridge shelves were broken and had tape on them ( at the end of this you will see why I mention them!). I promptly reported and received an email that they were aware and they also sent my inventory! Then as days went I noticed the room being very cold and that the 2 radiators in the room were not coping! But big surprise, heating starts at 6 am and stops at 11 am and again starts 6 pm and stops 11 pm. ( mould on the windows sealant explained!) Promptly report, get an email back from one of Centro employees that termostat start working when temperature drops ( it was 5 degrees in the room and 6-10 outside- room facing north!) and another email from somebody else that the heating was on timer! My fault! I should have asked but also they should have mentioned! And then heating stops completeley 15/04 and outside was still winter temperature! My surprise was that in the same month I moved in I noticed and reported silverfish infestation!( these disgusting bugs love wet environment!) The reply was ( on a scolding tone) that there is a new carpet and fresh paint ! So if you are looking to rent, beware! And if you see a Mr R. Kidd as landlord, think twice! Obviously does not care to improve living conditions on his property! I moved out and I received an email informing me that they were charging me the fridge shelves and also presented with a inflated cleaning bill! When I called regarding the fridge shelves Arran was pretending that he received all this from landlord!!!! Well it is only money after all and I will recover! ( and I bet the new tenant will receive the studio exactly like I left it!). I agree that it is my fault for not checking, so if you are looking to rent make sure you check and ask! I had rented from other agencies before and never had this low quality of service!

We needed a valuation with sales advice for our mixed commercial and retail property. Centro (our main contact was with Mr Paul Harwood) responded promptly. They visited and inspected the property within a few days then gave a succinct and what proved to be an accurate valuation and some useful advice. Good service all round.

As a tenant with a tenancy currently being managed by Centro I have to express both our gratitude and appreciation for the highly professional manner that our enquiries are dealt with. Technical issues are addressed by Celine Rodrigues who has been patient, kind and tenacious in sorting out any problems we have had to raise. She capably represents both the tenant and landlords interests. Its been an absolute pleasure working along with Centro. I cannot fault their professionalism.

I recently received excellent service from Reece and the team at Centro. After 25 years in the US I'm moving to the UK (Epsom area) and needed some extra help navigating the UK rental process. Reece was excellent in helping me to secure the property, and it's a big relief to already have somewhere to live when I arrive. Reece is calm, to the point, and gets things done. I heartily recommend him.

I have known Sammy over the last 7 years whilst working for Centro and found her to be very competent and helpful throughout. Especially when dealing with tenants and the many issues that arise.

Sammy is an excellent agent and instrumental at Centro. She has great communication skills and is totally transparent with her approach to dealing with clients. I’ve been a landlord with Centro for over 15 years and in that time Sammy has maintained a positive relationship with me and my tenants.

As an O/S based landlord, Centro having been looking after my property in Sutton, Surrey for years. Wouldn't think twice in recommending Sammy to look after my property!

My flat is up for renewal and I am the owner. Arran at Centro Sutton Office has been by far the best agent I have worked with. He is professional and efficient.

Centro are quick to send invoices out but seem to do little else, I've been waiting since pre covid for someone to repair a damaged external wall, useless company.

Unable to provide adequate building maintenance in a reasonable timeframe. Expect months to pass for them to fix any issue, from windows, gutters, drains and so on. Extremely unprofessional and selfish behaviour.

Currently arguing with Centro over the annual budget for our block of flats. Upped the ante on everything and refusing to allow monies from reserves to be used for extra projects. Reserves are at £12k, our money, and they are hanging onto it like grim death.

Dreadful to deal with. If they read this then I would just say Brookside Close and they will know what I mean.

Really satisfied with their service. Was very responsive & professional. Would definitely recommend.

Lettings Manager Arran always responds promptly and have great service mind. I couldn't have done it without him, he provided every documents or answer on time. Highly recommend to rent properties with Centro Residential :)
