My wife and I have been customers of Chadwick and Company for over 30 years. They always provided us nothing short on highly professional service and exemplary customer care. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Our main contacts are Tracey Conner and Martin Daglish. Both have always given us excellent advice and support. Martin is highly competent and is knowledgeable in various tax matters. He is always readily available to give support and responds to all queries expeditiously. The service and care he provides us are outstanding. We have no hesitation in recommending Chadwick & Co.

Our transition to Chadwicks & Co was smooth, professional and timely. Initially, I spoke with Chris, within a few minutes, I realised this firm would offer a personal and a professional service. Subsequently, Martin, Nigel and Jennifer, kindly provided their expertise and resolved our previous issues. I was extremely surprised but pleased with the speed these issues were resolved.

I moved over to Chadwicks a couple of years ago on recommendation to complete the personal tax returns for my family. I have found Martin helpful and reliable and keeps me informed as to any issues arising due to obtaining information on my overseas income. Returns are always completed in plenty of time and at a reasonable cost. Would certainly recommend.

Technically Louise does a fantastic job, everything we need is done to perfection and, as CEO, that means I know everything is in hand. But it is more than that - Louise is one of our team, insightful, proactive and a hugely valuable contributor to the positive, constructive culture that we are building. Chadwicks have also been on hand to do some of the heavy lifting that we needed and provided expertise and interventions around pensions and engaging HMRC.

Always amazing service from Sarah and Mike, would highly recommend this accountancy firm, they have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and time responsive when it comes to tax returns for example. I would definitely use their services again.

Amy is fantastic and cares about her clients I have been very happy with the service I have had from her personally, however since chadwicks bought out Optimum business service the accountants Amy worked for things have sadly gone down hill.
Chadwicks do not look after the small business man they are only interested in the big accounts that firms they take over have.
There is no personal touch anymore all communications are done by email
No sit down with your accountant to discuss what they have done and take you through your tax return.
They send you all the forms asking you to print them off yourself at home give you instructions where you need to sign( which were wrong by the way) sign them and send them back to them.
I have used my old accountants for 19 years and obs were brilliant and made you feel like they worked hard for you and you were important to them.
A few of the people who I brought over to obs over the years have all had this experience with chadwicks and have left just like me.
Personally i think Small business men should not use Chadwicks ,
I asked earlier in the year how much the fees would be for the year , i agreed and set up a higher direct debit to cover there fees so I would not owe anything at the end of my financial year .
Funny I have had to pay an extra £200 plus bill to them for work done, I was even asked to pay a charge of £54 for a letter to give to my bank because Chadwicks moved to Manchester and that is where my company was registered that would never of happened with my old accountants they would have done a letter for free.
One thing that did concern me was they sent me an email with someone else's tax liabilities this is a clear case of a breach of data protection.
They said that they would report it but I think it should be investigated to see if they did.
If I could give them no stars I would .
If you want an accountancy firm who works for a small business man look elsewhere .

Very helpful company, the staff are brilliant and always available to help. They took the stress away and looked after my accounts professionally and dealt with all my queries promptly.
