Worst online purchase ever experienced

Worst online purchase ever experienced, even 15 years ago when buying online was not so common. Here are the reasons:
1. It took me 10 days to place the order becasue the website had issues with the payment method and the customer service responded that was a problem of mine. However, I tried with three different devices (mac, cell-phone and pc), with three different web browsers (safari, firefox and explorer), and with four different credit/debit cards (three from Italian banks and one from a US bank). After 10 days I was able to finalize the order.

2. they use Hermes carrier, which was not able to locate my shipment. They have two departments domestic for UK shipments, and International. With the tracking number provided by Chain Reaction Cycles I could not locate the parcel. The customer service of Hermes International (they responded on a live chat) told me that the tracking number was from Hermes World and not from Hermes International - please note that we were chatting on the website Hermesworld.com. So I tried with the domestic department but this department responded only with automatic systems (both on the phone and on chat), so I could not locate the parcel through them. I went back to Chain Reaction and the Live Chat helped me to locate the parcel. The live chat operator was very useful and helpful (very good service). However, still after 10 days from the order I don't have a certain delivery date and, of course, I have not received the product.

Final note, we are talking about an order of €799.

I really advice them to rely on a different carrier, even if the client need to contribute something for a more certain and quicker delivery, I think it will be open to this in exchange to a better service - at least myself.

Finally, I am not sure whether I will but again from this website, becasue it is always an headache.

order insert the 9th

order insert the 9th, confirmed on the 10th, sent to Hermes on the 11th (tracking service paied), no news from that moment, tracking service is not working and the customer service told me that there will need 5 days to understand where the products are, means I have to wait for the 26th to know where goods are (I should have received everything within the 17th).. not a good customer service and bad delivery service. I will return back the package if and when it will arrive

Impeccable customer service.

Impeccable customer service.

Had an issue with a pair of knee guards i bought and in less that a week had the substitute pair.

5 stars and will definitely buy again from CRC.

Parcel disappeared
