Nita was very kind and patient when she showed us around, answered all our questions, walked with us to the back of the building and looked at the neighborhood.

I'm currently dealing with Nita whilst looking to buy around Oxford. I'm not familiar with the area, but Nita has been very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. She was knowledgeable about the property I just looked at too. I would recommend her to people looking at buying through Chancellors.

Nita was a good estate agent. Polite and didn’t rush me. Usually chancellors are awful.

I had great communication with Bella and other members of staff through the process. They said they would achieve a price for me and they did when other agents had priced my property at £100,000 less than what Chancellors did. So pleased I chose them.

Incompetent service, poor communication, and lack of attention to detail characterised our experience selling our house with Chancellors East Oxford. There are no circumstances under which I would suggest anyone use this office.
The Chancellors central sales progression team (particularly Alicia Lopez) were competent and helpful, although clearly very busy.
The Chancellors East Oxford team were neither helpful nor competent. Jack, who was our contact, seemed unable to remember the slightest detail and resorted to making things up when asked questions. He gave the wrong date of expected completion to our buyers, causing significant issues. The office seemed unable to communicate amongst themselves, requiring multiple calls to action anything.
A particular highlight of our experience was the extremely robotic weekly call from Jack which consisted of reading our statistics about Rightmove website views despite frequent requests not to do this, alongside regular calls saying informing us of things that had already happened because we had done them

I wish I could give zero stars because our experience with Chancellors - East Oxford has been an absolute nightmare. As first-time renters, my daughter and her partner were excited to finally step into the world of independence and secure their own little haven. Little did they know, they were walking right into a horror story that no one should ever have to endure.
Upon receiving the keys to their supposed "new home," they were greeted with a scene straight out of a nightmare. The property was infested with cloth moths, making it feel like a creepy, crawling horror movie. To add insult to injury, the entire place was riddled with mildew damp stains that not only looked unsightly but posed serious health risks. Mold seemed to have declared its sovereignty around the bath and shower, and no amount of cleaning could have possibly made this place habitable.
It was clear that the estate agent hadn't bothered to have the property professionally cleaned before handing over the keys. The entire place reeked of neglect and indifference. The so-called "cleaning" must have been done by a blindfolded toddler with dirty water. But the horrors didn't stop there.
The battle with these horrendous cloth moths quickly escalated as they also destroyed the curtains in the sitting room. The agent advised the property was perfectly habitable and that clothes moth infestation wasn't a reason not to move in, I'd like to see anyone who works at Chancellors who would be willing to move into a property with this level of infestation, clearly, they don't have any regard to personal belonging or what is an acceptable standard for living space.
And let's talk about the windows – the seal on one of the double-glazed windows had blown, leaving us with a view reminiscent of a foggy morning on the Thames! The condensation had transformed the window into a blurry canvas, obliterating any chance of a clear view of the outside world.
But what has truly left me seething was the attitude of the estate agent's staff. Their flippant demeanor and complete lack of care was a slap in the face to any notion of professionalism or basic human decency. Every interaction was a painful reminder of their blatant disregard for the customers who keep their business afloat.
Promises to return calls with updates? Empty words. My daughter and her partner were left hanging countless times, waiting for updates that never came. The pinnacle of their audacity was serving us different versions of the truth as if we wouldn't notice the inconsistencies in their lies.
I am absolutely outraged that a business can operate with such a flagrant disregard for customer service, ethics, and common decency. Chancellors - East Oxford should be ashamed of themselves for exploiting unsuspecting renters and subjecting them to living conditions that even a horror movie character wouldn't tolerate.
Save yourself from this nightmare of an experience – avoid Chancellors East Oxford at all costs. Your sanity, health, and trust deserve better than this abysmal excuse for a business.
