Even though the property wasn't exactly what we were after, Chris was very knowledgeable , he answered all of our questions and was very personable.

I am very grateful to the Chancellors team at Hereford for their work in selling our property. All the staff who dealt with it seemed tireless in their efforts on our behalf, and were unfailingly helpful and on the ball when problems arose in the sales process. The property had to go back on the market when the first agreed offer fell through (owing to illness of the buyer), and despite it being bad weather and the week before Christmas, they displayed the same enthusiasm to show it to viewers and negotiate between offers as they had first time around. Their advice was always considered and sensible, and they listened to our concerns as to the kind of buyer we preferred.

I have had several property viewings with Rhys over the last few weeks. I have always found him to be punctual and very knowledgeable about the properties he is discussing. Unlike some other estate agents locally, I never feel that he is trying to pressure me into buying and is open and honest about the condition of each property (e.g. renovation required) and I think he is genuinely concerned with finding me the perfect property for my requirements. In short, I think he is a credit to your business and his attitude and commitment should be commended.

Fantastic Service from calling to arrange viewing with Jordan, polite, professional and able to answer any questions. The whole process of Meeting Agent to filling in forms on specialist system which was so easy to follow and work through. The the Lettings Progression Advisor, Jennifer was so efficient and on the ball, it was all processed smoothly and quickly with all the appropriate documentation and phone calls to leading to everything being signed off. Out of all the Agents I viewed through Chancellors is hands down the most professional and courteous. I highly recommend for Lettings based on my experience.

I am very satisfied with the work Chancellors has done for us so far. Ryhs has kept us reliably informed and given honest professional advice and guidance since our first meeting. I think he is very knowledgeable of the current market situation and realistic of what is achievable. He is also very sensitive to the nature of the current family situation.

I put my house on the market at the beginning of November 2020 with Chancellors Estate Agents in Hereford. During this process and throughout the following months leading up to the final sale and completion date I found each member of staff to be very polite and courteous. I had dealings with other estate agents in Hereford but compared with Chancellors’s, some were not as efficient. Phone calls and messages were always followed up and answered in a positive manner. Various staff members, in particular the sales team, were always helpful and willing to give advice. The process was made all the smoother with this type of input and would use them again if I had to go through a similar procedure.

Our experience was with Tim Whorwood who provided information and a viewing on a property for us. It was genuinely refreshing to deal with someone who had a thorough understanding and appreciation of the property (it is rather unique) and exhibited really first class customer care towards us as a potential buyer and his client as a vendor.
A credit to Chancellors and really an illustration of why it it worth engaging a 'proper' agent compared to the online matching agents with whom our viewing experience to date has been pretty grim..

Despite being in the middle of a Pandemic, with a ridiculously high workload caused by the Stamp duty holiday, Rhys O’Connor managed to work very hard, right from negotiating the initial offer through to a successful completion.

Rhys is very good at understanding the gravity of situations, especially with a particularly difficult property, listens carefully, and took time and interest at every stage of all the processes involved, and is a credit to Chancellors Hereford.

Well done Rhys, when the Stamp Duty holiday is over, you deserve a holiday!

Chancellors have so far been one of the best Estate Agents in helping us look for our new home. They are consistent in sending appropriate suggestions regularly but not overwhelming us. They ask now and then if we are still happy to stay on their list or if we want to cease having mailings. If you phone they are helpful and knowledgeable or get a colleague with better knowledge of a property to ring you. They are understanding about the situation for both buyers and sellers within the context of the current pandemic. All of this is what one hopes for. We have not yet found what we are looking for ... but I know this company has been doing all it can to help us. The review only allows us to mention one branch of Chancellors but Hay on Wye and other in the area such as Leominster have also been very active and helpful.

I am a first time buy and was coming into this process incredibly new and inexperienced. Rhys O'Connor has been excellent throughout the process so far by providing information on the process to recommended steps to take. He made the process less daunting and I'm sure he will continue to do so throughout the sale process. So from me, excellent job Rhys, thank you!

Would highly recommend Chancellors as an estate agents to any friends and family.

We recently viewed a property with Rhys, he was very attentive and had a good knowledge of the property and local area.
There were issues with arranging the viewing and an issue over the time booked but this was easily resolved by a quick phone call.
I would recommend more precautions be taken in respect of the pandemic, for example we were informed that there were 15 viewings that day yet no hand sanitiser was offered upon entry and no visible signs that areas commonly touched, for example door handles, were being wiped down.
Rhys was very friendly and not overbearing allowing us to get a feel for the property on our own.

Mike Thompson has been of great help during my house-hunting. He has being patient in answering all my questions. Not only those directly related to the house(s) I was viewing, but also to the general approach to the overall process, easing my stress during my journey to my first home. Many thanks.
