Ella has been fantastic at guiding us through the process of finding and applying for lettings. She has been very patient, helpful and positive. Very good communication and overall, very lovely to have dealt with!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Chancellors and I must say that it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I am utterly disappointed with the level of service I received, or rather, the lack thereof.

From moment we signed our contract, it was clear that they had no resources to support their promises to do what was promised initially. It was as if we overall were an inconvenience to them through the first weeks.

Furthermore, their communication skills were shockingly poor. It was as if they couldn't be bothered to provide the most basic information or keep us informed about the progress.

What truly infuriated me, however, was their complete lack of professionalism when it came to property viewings.

Overall, my experience with Chancellor's was beyond disappointing – it was an absolute nightmare. I wouldn't wish their ineptitude and lack of professionalism on my worst enemy. Save yourself the frustration and avoid if you're looking for an estate agent who will actually work for your best interests.

P.S. We're sure our "review" was edited - we have emailed and spoken to the directors and still to date, after a month of asking for help resolving issues to their offical complaints departments, have 0 progress.... GOOD LUCK WHOEVER HAS SIGNED WITH CHANCELLORS - YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!!!

Chancellors were absolutely fantastic. We're very happy that we chose them to help sell our property. Chancellors weren't just interested in getting the listing to improve their numbers but showed a sincere interest in the property and all the features it had to offer to their pool of potential buyers. They also really cared about our journey as sellers and making it as stress free as possible.

All of the agents at Chancellors were a pleasure to work with. They were personable, friendly, and trustworthy. I don't imagine many people like the idea of strangers being in their home when they're not around but we felt very comfortable and confident when leaving the house in the hands of Catherine.

We had offers after our first open day, and I believe this too is thanks to Catherine. Her enthusiasm was contagious and so the day was fully booked with prospective buyers who all shared in her excitement. She went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment, build relationships, and generate genuine interest.

We had a pretty tight deadline for getting a sale and Chancellors were able to turn it around very fast and with as little disruption as possible.

We're very happy with our choice, we couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely recommend Chancellors to anyone looking to sell in Reading.

It was a heavy rainy Saturday and Rob arrived the venue before we got there and welcome us. As English is our second language, Rob speaks clearly and slowly for our understanding of all the needed to know. We have a very good view of the apartment.

NOT even used then and can tell they are a shower, after at least 20 phone calls not one was answered !!!
[Reading] then call call Bracknell same as !! then call oxford and a nice girl answers but couldn't help said to ring head office so i did ,you guessed it no answers, i ONLY wont to buy a property !! so i booked a viewing on line in one of there many slots for next day [Aug 9th]
then had a phone call to confirm OH no that slot is not available but they can find me a 30min slots FIVE days later, but why all slots were available, no thats just the portal ?? so whats point in it ?. had to give up as i could see how this was going to end up not being able to get a hold of them, i glad im not selling thru them,

Robert and his team has been excellent throughout the process of purchasing the property. Some part of the transaction process was slow, Robert was calm & patient, in some part guided us to reach to reasonable position to conclude. Thanks Robert for your help and support

My experience with Chancellors has been very positive. Ella Hunt was the state agent I was dealing with. Ella has a very warm approach. Ella is very knowledgable in her job role and was able to direct me to the right information. Overall Ella has excellent customer service skills and it was a pleasure working with her.

Communication is very good, good guidance on property search and viewing

After embarking on a journey that I had not experienced for over 20 years, I truly do not know what I would have done without David Mackie - Lettings Manager of Chancellors (Reading Branch)

After contacting approximately 20 letting agents to register myself & leaving many messages, David was the ONLY person to return my call.

I found him to be exceptionally courteous, professional and very willing to help in any which way, appreciating how naive I was when looking to rent a property & all that it entailed.

Nothing was too much for David to explain to me, the processes & procedures that go hand in hand when searching for that right property, and step by step he and his amazing team have supported me tirelessly, and believe me when I say I can ask many questions and be a tad challenging, but their support has been unquestionable right from the offset & continues as we nearer the exciting moving in date.

From the moment I first spoke on the telephone with David, I knew I wanted to meet him and when I did, I knew he so wanted to help me along with his team.
So, a big thank you to you all, especially Ella and most importantly David!

Answered all questions clearly

Wonderful estate agents to work with, made the whole process of arranging a viewing and applying to rent a property a lot easier and much more straight forward than other estate agents in the area! We've now agreed to let a property shown to us by the agent Achilles, who was very friendly, helpful and professional throughout the whole process.
