Chancellors - Surbiton Reviews 

One of the agents, Gaving Gordon at the Surbiton brunch confirmed a viewing in the late morning, for 5 pm. In the mid-afternoon, I changed the appointment to 5:30 pm. When I turned up for the appointment he wasn't there, and the tenant didn't let me in. I emailed him to say it's important he confirms with the tenant/landlord before confirming the viewing, so I don't have to waste my time and journey costs. He was very aggressive on the phone saying he just found out this. He confirmed the viewing at 11:37 he had plenty of time to check the viewing is ok with the tenant. For him to raise his voice to his client like that is unacceptable. Very appalling.

Excellent service and communication from Gavin Gordon. He is always professional. He was very patient when showing us around the property. We found him to be honest in his approach and clear as to what was expected from the transaction which enabled us to make a clear and informed offer. We didn't feel as if we were having the "wool pulled over our eyes" so to speak which was very much our experience of the other agencies that we dealt with previously.

Gavin was very polite and helpful over the phone and during the viewing. It was very quick and easy to arrange the viewing with him.

Gavin was really helpful with our search and much friendlier than some other estate agents that we have dealt with recently.

Hollie Hennessey was a new starter at the Surbiton branch of Chancellors. She struggled a little bit when she first took on the property (due to what appeared to be an understandable lack of training) but has since managed to sell our flat in good time and at a decent price.

I have had a good rapport with Gavin who works at the Surbiton Branch for a long time and he has provided me with excellent service. Hoping he will help sell my studio flat in Surbiton in the very near future.

Despite a change of management at the Surbiton branch I still received a personal, competent and professional service in the marketing and potential sale of my property. A special mention to Hollie who was always courteous, responsive and proactive in all my dealings with her. Gary Harris

It’s been Hollie handling most of my affairs, and to say she goes the extra mile is an understatement. She’s helped out with some really complicated issues that go way beyond what you normally expect from an agency, and she is clearly excellent in managing the buy side. I would recommend in the strongest possible terms.

Gavin comes across as a very helpful (always cheerful) and knowledgeable person. Someone you don't mind picking up the call and speaking to, because he has such a welcoming nature about him. He's definitely a positive asset to Chancellors!
