Recently visited Jersey for the first time and I wasn’t disappointed. Stayed for a week at the Royal Yacht Hotel in St.Helier with a room upgrade included. The hotel accomodation, food and location were all excellent.
Flights, transfers, hotel and island tour were all included and transparent when the holiday was booked.
Channel Escapes confirmed the holiday and payment details and kept me updated throughout.
Booking with Channel Escapes was very easy and they offered a wide choice of hotels and locations, their customer service was excellent.
I recommend Channel Escapes if you are planning a holiday in Jersey or Guernsey.

Recently returned from a break to Jersey. All contact with staff at Channel Island Escapes were well received & even when a few hiccups were identified these were soon rectified by Susan. Car hire, hotel & whole experience was very positive & would definitely recommend to friends & book with them again. Makes a pleasant change to receive such good service.

Recently returned from a 3 night break at the Royal Yacht hotel in St Helier Jersey. Flights, transfers and hotel arranged byChannel Escapes. It was an excellent holiday, the arrangements were efficiently done, the staff at Channel Escapes friendly, helpful and efficient. The transfers were on time and the driver very pleasant. The hotel excellent and the room upgrade made it even better. We will certainly use Channel Escapes again.

Great destination, however when we arrived at the hotel they had no reservation for us!

I don’t know if it’s Channel Escapes or the hotel who were at fault but someone failed to be thorough. Fortunately, the hotel made a room available for us.

We were booked on a vineyard tour where we were picked up at the hotel. The bus was half an hour late so rang the bus company to check there were still coming. We mentioned to the driver that we’d been waiting so long he just said our allocated time was far too early so he obviously had a different time on his schedule.

Flights, accommodation and food were great. Transfers and boat trip good also.

All in all a good holiday but more attention to detail needed.

Efficient and helpful company to deal with. Good choice of hotels. Everything went to plan on our holiday due to their organisation.

My husband & I recently booked a holiday to Jersey via this company. I had to contact them concerning a query over the flights. They were very professional, friendly & efficient and dealt with my query in a timely matter. They didn't make me feel that my query was insignificant. I would recommend this company 100 per cent.

My wife and I decided we would like a 4 night break in Jersey, unfortunately, trying to book on line showed there was no vacancies at our selected hotel. We phoned Channel Escapes who contacted the hotel direct and managed to arrange a booking for us for the dates we wanted.
Channel Escapes were very professional and called back the same day.
Whenever I've called them the phone was always answered with no 'sorry we're busy at this time, please call back' messages.
I've already contacted them to arrange another break.

Lovely holiday in Jersey organised through channel escapes, great value for money and great service with nothing too much trouble. Was upgraded to a balcony room with fantastic view of air show on Thursday.

Just returned from a 4 night stay in Jersey and can recommend Jersey as a destination. I booked through ChannelEscapes and the process was easy although I think we were sold a hotel that was not really what I was looking for and subsequently on returning have emailed my feedback directly but not had a response.

Since writing this review I have now received a email response from Channel Escapes who have sent our concerns to the hotel.

This company does not let you search on its website by putting a 'single' person wanting to travel by yourself.I tried to search for a holiday to Jersey for one person but channel escapes' website will not let me or anybody change '2 people' to one person travelling so only allows searching for a holiday to Jersey for '2 adults'.I have tried to search but there is nowhere on the website to change '2 people' to one person travelling! Every other website I've looked at, eg. Travel Republic, Expedia, Kayak, etc have a facility to change 2 people to one person when searching for a holiday so thus allow single people to search.If you yourself try to search channel escapes' website as a single person, believe you me you will see that you're not allowed to do this so hence, looking at channel escapes' website will show you the tangible evidence/tangible proof that you can't search for a holiday to Jersey as a single person - their website is the proof of what I am saying - everybody who looks at the website can actually see what I'm saying is the truth.Therefore, the actual truth, the facts for everybody who looks at channel escapes' website to see, are that channel escapes' website excludes single people from searching for a holiday to Jersey!
I tried to post a review re this before but in different words & channel escapes didn't like it & tried to get it removed so basically channel escapes are trying to cover up & hide something that is tangibly there on their website, i.e. you cannot search as a single person for a holiday to Jersey because their website won't allow that.... Furthermore, if we halve the 2 adult person prices the website quotes, in this current climate even though prices have risen, channel escapes' website prices seem quite reasonable. Hence I was thrilled at their prices, so because the website wouldn't let me search as a single person, I phoned channel escapes only to be totally then disappointed when they said it doesn't work like that, so you cannot get those prices as a single person......
Furthermore, when I phoned, they were meant to phone back with some options of price quotes for a holiday to Jersey for one person but they didn't phone, yet they said they'd call back within the same day!!!!!
If you check their website, you'll see it won't let you search for a holiday for one person travelling alone!....Assuming we all travel as a twosome is unfair,
excludes singles from searching their website at our leisure to view holiday options!......Being truthful about their website is legal because if you check their website you'll see I am telling the truth because you'll see it only shows holidays for 2 people & will not allow single people to change a search option in order to search for a holiday for one!!There is no option on channel escapes' website to search for a holiday to Jersey one, so their website excludes single people from searching for a holiday to Jersey for one.
We are living in this age of technology where most things have to be done online. When I search online I really don't want to be made to feel inferior for the fact that I'm single, a solo traveller.Nevertheless, this company channel island escapes made me feel inferior, excluded & upset me because it assumes everybody is a 'twosome' & not single.... The company assumes everybody travels on holiday in 2s & never as a solo traveller.
If you look at channel escapes' website yourself and try to search as a single person, it won't allow you to do that; it won't allow you to change '2 people' into one when trying to search for a holiday to Jersey, as I've mentioned....We are in an age of technology where most things are online so for anything you want, you absolutely have to search online.However, channel escapes' website prevents me & other single travellers, single people, from doing so. Channel escapes' website prevents me due to this 'actual true fact' that it won't allow, won't let me or anybody search for a holiday as a single person! Hence, the way channel escapes have set up their website prevents single people from accessing it, prevents us from searching for a holiday to Jersey travelling as a single person(as you can clearly yourself see if you try to do this on their website).So, I'm hindered in today's 21st century technology & this is a fact which if, as mentioned, you look at channel escapes' website you'll definitely see for yourself as documentary/real tangible proof re everything I'm saying in this truthful review of my experience with channel escapes.

and if you do eventually speak to them on the phone their offer prices are not half of the two person price quoted...they're still a lot more expensive.So their reply to me is very vague and it doesn't say we are sorry that we sting solo travellers on price so don't treat us fairly.

Just returned from a week's holiday in Guernsey booked through Channel Escapes. It was first time booking with them - everything was excellent from start to finish. They provided excellent advice re accommodation, trips to Sark and Herm, car hire, flights. Their customer service staff are very knowledgeable and were very easy to deal with. We had brilliant weather for the duration of our holiday although I'm not sure Channel Escapes can take credit for that. Would definitely recommend their services.

The team were excellent at all steps of the booking process. Problems we had with Easyjet were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Really friendly, personal, yet professional service from start to finish. The phone is answered quickly, by a 'real person', no queuing to speak to someone. If nobody is available to answer, they call you back very quickly. The hotel was lovely, and the company chosen for airport transfers were also very helpful. My holiday was lovely from start to finish.
