Slippers arrived quickly and were exactly what I wanted.

Shoes delivered when promised and fitted looked as in the photo.

Didn’t have my size in the shop so ordered online. Took longer to arrive than expected, but wasn’t in a hurry for them. Bought to replace another pair of Merrell walking shoes. Lovely colour, looking forward to wearing them.

The shoes were ordered from their website in the evening and were dispatched the next day. I bought two pairs in order to choose the most comfortable and returned the unwanted pair the same day. They acknowledged receipt and refunded my money within three days. Excellent service! 😊

I have foot problems resulting in different size feet, thus making choosing footwear interesting. The person I dealt with in the Darlington shop was most helpful in meeting my requirements. The recommended shoes were similar to those previously bought that Clinkards, again on recommendation. The fit of the new ones was good. Excellent service.

Paid express delivery to ensure shoes delivered on time for holiday . No shoes received. DPD have failed to deliver after 7 days !!!!
Refund required. Despite 3 emails to Clinkards no reply received.

Arrived in excellent time. Lovely ankle boots. Very comfy. Beautifully wrapped for transportation.

I bought these boots in black having owned a similar pair in brown since last Christmas. The price was reasonable and they were dispatched promptly by Royal Mail and they arrived within a few days.

I have taken too long to post about our excellent experience here although we have recommended many times since our visit to the Coppergate, York store.
Besides the wide selection and the quality of the footwear this is the only place where my spouse has found shoes that she liked, wanted and fit her perfectly. This was very largely down to a lovely lady called Christina who was so helpful, personable and professional. She spent all the time needed to advise and help. Thank you so much.

I've purchased from Charles Clinkard/Gabor several times over past year and always had an excellent experience. I wish all on-line retailers were as reliable and efficient. Shoes arrive within 2 to 4 days, returns really easy and refunds made promptly. I also love Gabor wide-fit shoes which are an excellent fit for my feet.

I online ordered a pair of boots that were unavailable in my local branch. The reason I sourced them online was that I could return them to my local store if they did not fit

Odd sizes. Sized down as advised and still too big. Measured their 5.5 against a size 6 and the smaller size 5.5’s were bigger. Customer service very unhelpful and refused to refund postage return despite their sizing being shocking and all off. The sizing issue is bad enough but the v v poor Customer service would make sure I’d never order from this retailer again. Score reflects poor sizing and awful customer service

Ordered on 6th February- had an email to say been dispatched but no email to say ready to collect from store!Staff not very helpful in store.

Ordered Panama jack boots on line as they are a replacement for the same boots I bought from Charles Clinkard, about 9yrs ago, which I literally have worn out (soles). I was able to order same size and colour. Kept informed and arrived on time and they are just perfect. Great quality boots too
