I love the range at Charles Clinkard. Being tall (5'11") it's hard to find footwear to fit my slightly bigger than UK size 8s (EU size 41) - which is the largest size a lot of shops will stock. Brands stocked by Charles Clinkard such as Rieker, Gabor, Joseph Seibel have shoes at EU 42 upwards, so here I find lots very stylish options in my size. Also excellent and speedy service.

My order arrived quickly and the boots are really good quality, stylish and comfy. I'm a size 6 and they fit perfectly. An added bonus, I got them on the sale - delighted with my purchase and will definitely order again.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are really supportive as I am 5 foot 11 and can’t wear skinny heels and they are super comfy and look great

Lovely shoes, just what I was looking for but the left shoe feels tighter than the right one. I have kept them (because I like them) hoping that the left one will feel better with wear but not sure the quality /fit is as good as I expected.

The more time goes on, the more I appreciate the 'old' shops and services that still do things in the old way: good customer care, helpful, clear communications, nice in store staff, easy returns and refunds. Charles Clinkard is genuinely one of those - along with M & S and John Lewis (though JL have now outsourced their customer care to South Africa which was not a good move). And oh yes, I bought some great boots, good discount, great help fitting them in my Bristol shop. Very pleased

Charles Clinkard is a go to for good shoes by reputable brands. The service is excellent and returns are easy.

I ordered a new pair of sandals, what I got was someone returns, the book was damaged, very little packaging, obvious they were used. If it wasn’t for going on holiday and having no option, I would have returned them. Never buy from them again

Spoke to a really helpful young lady who confirmed all items were in stock and would be dispatched that day so I had them in time to travel for Christmas.

I’ve been shopping at Charles Clinkard’s since I was a child in Middlesbrough. After moving to the southwest twenty six years ago, it was a delightful surprise to see this familiar name in Cribbs Causeway. My shoes are comfortable and elegant. The quality is excellent and I’m very pleased with them.

Ease of use of website, slippers despatched and delivered efficiently

I ordered and paid for some boots. The boots were delivered by DPD, but not to my address, but to a neighbour down the road. I went to the neighbour to collect and they denied having them despite photographic evidence. Called DPD who as far as they were concerned had fulfilled their contract by delivering the parcel. Called Charles Clinkard who backed up what DPD had said, even though they had not tried to deliver to my house and then they refused to honour a refund or replacement. It was even suggested I go back and confront the neighbour. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Their service is appalling, leaving a customer out of pocket shows me exactly what they think of their customers.
