Poor after sales.
This is the second time I have experienced bad service from this company. Bought several items but returned chinos as they were an incorrect order. I was advised after a lenghty email trail that they would be replaced. Very good I thought. I was assured that if there were any further issues I could have a full refund. They were replaced but with the same wrong chinos. Again this attracted a load of emails with differing opinions from the operating agents who provided varying advice on C.T. policy that became very annoying. There is clearly no consistent business ethos on policy with the C.T. agents in freefall. No wonder then that my issue is still outstanding with C.T. promising a full refund whilst trying to deflect payment by offering a voucher I do not want. I hope that the last phone call has taken effect and I get a refund after a very lengthy time wasting process.

Not sure about quality of product but online ordering and delivering is a catastrophe!!! No comms or correct update during deliver, the very last day of delivery you have to ask for info and ....whoops....we have some issues with courier....I have received 3 different status for delivery....no1 as delivered - no, it was not; no2 - going to be delivered today - ahh I do not think so as no3 - on the way, not on delivery.....and support is asking for another 48hrs when I was asking for update!!! First and last order from this company

First class garments
First class garments. I have been buying the shirts for years and have just discovered the linen polos. A great range of colours that suit leisure or office wear, particularly in the hot weather. I had a delivery returned unexpectedly by Amazon back to Charles Tyrwhitt and was extremely impressed by the very prompt, professional and personal service received by Martin at CT who redelivered within two days, keeping me informed throughout. Excellent.

A terrific company who will always do their best to help. Customer service is obviously their first priority judging by the experience I had. I created a problem by my choice of something unsuitable (slim-fit!) and they replaced the item already worn twice without demur.

Good but sizing not for me.
Review amended following response from company.
Bought a shirt intending to take on holiday, but sizing not for me after using the websites size guide.
I thought I was in luck, it arrived earlier than the projected date (about a week) given in the estimated delivery.
However - I used the web page’s size guide, which on the face of it seemed really clever, as I was on the fence between Large and Medium based on the data I gave it. I advise not to rely on it, in hindsight I should have bought two sizes to try and return one.
Size guide suggested the slim fit shirt would be snug in medium, and a good fit in the large. I went for the large, banking that a slimmer fit as I had purchased would fit nicely even if a little roomy, and be pleasant in the hot weather abroad.
Shirt arrived and quality seemed good and a great colour…but it was ginormous, not remotely close to a slim/tailored fit. For perspective, I am muscular to athletic, so often a medium makes a figure hugging fit, and large is more relaxed, dependent on brand. For Charles Tyrwhitt I would say they run a little big.
A little let down by the inaccurate sizing guide, unfortunately I’ll be returning the garment, having found an alternative option elsewhere before my trip. Good material and colour range offered for the pricing

We offer Express (next-day) delivery in the UK, so it's a little odd that you didn't see this option. You select the delivery option during the checkout process, but prices can also be found on our Delivery FAQ page.
It's such a shame that the fit wasn't perfect for you. We know it can be tricky when ordering for the first time online, without being able to physically try the item on. Slim Fit is our 'regular' fit, so it's a good starting point for most customers.
The linen shirts are a little more generous than most, being designed with maximum breathability in mind. It sounds like the Extra Slim will perhaps be best for you, however. Sizing down is also an option, although that will also reduce the sleeve length by around an inch.
We're really sorry that you won't have this lovely shirt for your holiday, but if you wish to make a return once you're back, we're here and happy to help. Returns and exchanges are processed speedily, and we'll gladly talk through the options with you.

Just can't stop ordering shirts
Just can't stop ordering shirts. Tried pretty much every cut and every size of collar and sleeves, you can finetune a lot. Really love the (very british - italian should take note - the reinforced center placket that keeps the buttons secure and aligned (even if untied for the upper ones). 4th order just went in. Logistics is not the fastest but got my last package in 5 days in Switzerland, which was more than decent.

Cheap fabric, paid returns & fits like a box
Website sizing is a lottery. I ordered a normal 17" shirt and it would have been too big for a square box. Fits like a box with no tailoring whatsoever. Hugely disappointed in the quality of fabric given the premium price. Then to top it all off once you've received your overpriced piece of cheap fabric you have to pay £3.95 to return it.
