UPDATE: received items. Turns out they ship from multiple places but don't forward all the tracking numbers. Probably won't order from CTD again because of all the bad reviews and my confusing experience, but maybe not a total scam after all.

Ordered four items. Was charged for four. Four items were on the shipping notice. Received one. At the very least a terrible “business” that you should avoid.

Outstanding service and product line! I have made several purchases and every time the purchases have shipped quickly and a great value! When I've had questions their Chat Box responses have always been quick and professional! Cheaper Than Dirt does a fine job and I'd highly recommend them!!!

No one to talk to and my order was missing a box of 32 ammo. So i guess i will never order from them again... No number or live chat available even though it says that both are offered. Update my 32 ammo finally came about a week later so i am happy about that it came in a separate box with no invoice. my original shipment came with a invoice that showed all parts of the order had been filled and that shipment wash missing ammo. So idk if it was alway on its way or a mistake. But normally partial filled orders are shown as 0 shiped and 1 ordered on invoices if they arent in thAt box. I changed my 1 star to a 3 star because. I did get what i paid for in the end. But the experience was time consuming and frustrating.

From purchase to delivery..Amazing company and products! I have purchased from cheaperthandirt.com multiple times and I have always received a great product and a very fair price. The last time I purchased ammo there was a mixup with my purchase, some of the ammo was not shipped. I called the company, honestly expecting a problem, but their customer service quickly and apologetically handled the problem. I bought two items from them and they were shipped in less than a day and came before the due date. No one else had these products in stock. I think that justified a bit higher cost.
When I received the products I realized they were not compatible. This was my fault. I didn't know Daniel Defense lowers had a different grip.
I called them and they answered the phone quickly. They sent me a return label and refunded my money.
I myself would buy from them again. Thanks

I bought a Colt M4 and had it shipped to my FFL where I had to do the background check which came back Unresolved. Consequently the FFL wouldn't transfer the weapon. I called Cheaper Than Dirt to send a return sticker to the FFL which they never sent. So I called a week later and they informed me I would have to pay a restock fee of 10%. It's bad enough not being able to get my weapon but then having to pay 10% to return a weapon they won't transfer to me is a travesty. Obviously I will NEVER do business again with Cheaper Than Dirt. By the way They ban me from Buying from them because this weapon had to be returned.

Terrible customer service, deleted my review of an item because of "accuracy" when it was subjective. It's fine I'll spend my money elsewhere where they don't scrub the reviews they don't like and leave the ones they do.

I ordered a magazine for a handgun (order No. 22748147). It was advertised as holding 15 rounds. Upon receipt it would not take more than 5 rounds, and was obviously defective. I contacted Cheaper than Dirt. Their customer service rep timely responded, and asked if I wanted a replacement or refund. I opted for a replacement. It never came. So I reached out twice, the most recent time requesting a refund since it was apparent they would not honor my initial request. Nothing but the sound of crickets in response. Exceptionally poor quality and equally poor service.

Not sure where y'all are buying dirt, but, you can get it much cheaper than these guys are selling it for. Yes, I'm saying that the prices are very high.

I ordered from them back years ago, before they got too carried away on the pricing. Everything was great, then. I guess that if nobody else has what you're looking for and you can't wait, this could be a last resort.

Requires a picture of your driver’s license to allegedly prevent against fraud. This isn’t required under the law and is a total invasion of privacy especially for products that have to go through certified middle-men who will themselves confirm the identity of buyers. Joke of a company that prioritizes the covering of their own asses over the privacy of their customers. Shop elsewhere.

I actually did not think this product was going to be as good as it actually is. I am very pleased with it. It fires great. I bought another pistol from them as soon as I got this one.

This is Cheaper Than Dirt wrapped up in a real life deal. This happened and I am through with them. If you read this, purchase from them and then go through this, you will deserve it.
Online I am looking for 30 round AR clips.
I order 3 magazine clips from Cheaper Than Dirt and pay them.
Efficiently CTD sends the clips. Sealed in plastic, I have to open the packages to find out that they all weren't working, not as described, and definitely not worth the money or effort. They were 30 round AR clips claiming "Made in America ". The claim was that they would hold 30 rounds. I managed 12 rds in one of the clips and the other 2 wouldn't hold 10 or less. Let me tell you, 10 was a pain to load. I could hear the spring twisting and was fearing they wouldn't even push the rounds up to load in the chamber. Cheaper Than Dirt sent me Asian crap.
I contact Cheaper Than Dirt and request a refund.
I return the clips that cost $51.56. Cheaper Than Dirt sends me a label so I can return the faulty products.
I receice a refund of $35.26.
So in conclusion, I pay $16.30 to waste time and money to see that CTD is still selling this garbage.
Naturally I'm not happy about throwing over $16 out the window wasting my time.
So in classic form, Im telling everyone I speak with, leaving reviews at every forum socially and locally, leaving a Yelp review, Google, and the BBB. Yes I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
When I'm finished, the people I come in contact with will know this company by a new name...
CHEAPER THAN S**T AND SNAKIER THAN DIRT. This is a company that treats their customers with these policies and is bound to fail in a world where people just want what was described and expect a fair deal. In my opinion, I didn't receive either.
There are too many competitors that are honorable, sell excellent products, and have superior pricing.

So many negative reviews in this form. My experience was completely opposite. I ordered a Rifle 3 days ago and it arrived yesterday! During the ordering process I had some payment issues (on my end). I called the customer support number to get help 2 times with 2 different cards and I got through very fast. The customer service reps clearly spoke American English which was refreshing for a change. I'm usually used to getting sent to a call center in India or the Philippines by most companies. The customer support told me what I had to do to fix my payment problem very easily. I ordered the rifle in under 15 minutes and got the gun in 2 days. I literally had no issues and am extremely happy. I would go to this website again for other purchases.

Scam selling products they do not have in stock but say they do. Don’t waist your time

I used to go to CTD in the beginning, but they have gone downhill over the past few years and have apparently hit the accelerator as of late. Shop elsewhere, so many other good sites to go with.

Buyer beware!! Don’t waist your money & time. One star is the lowest rating I could give this business. I made an on line purchase shortly before midnight for a Sig Sauer mag. @ $ 60.80, I discovered Sig’s price for the same was $ 49.95. I phoned business first thing following morning, 6-9- 2022 was told they don’t price match, I asked for a refund, was told the item had shipped already. I find that hard to believe!!!!!! Transaction hadn’t even posted to my account yet. It was suggested when item arrives, return it for a refund.

I just received my package and all I can say I am amazed how fast everything shipped, nothing missing or back ordered and most important it was very affordable (cheaper than dirt). I swear I do not know these people personally but I am a business owner and I would hate to have all of these bad reviews and its not fair, they must be fake. I almost did not order because of these reviews but I am glad I did. This place is a good place and I will continue to spend my money here.

So, you can read that CTD gets an 85% lowest rating possible. What else needs be said? They fully know what they're doing with exorbitant pricing and continue to do so.
Why anyone buys anything from these guys is baffling.

Just stop doing it.
