Beware of this company and their products for several reasons.
My first and most obvious point is the excessive and greedy prices, they've simply jumped on the 'food inflation bandwagon' hiking their prices disproportionately.
Secondly and potentially far more serious issue is their use of artificial sweeteners i.e. Sucralose(and a host of other synthetic additives) which is a non digestible chemical derived from pesticide production!
Do your own research on this filth and the potential damage it can cause, rather than taking BP's response that it 'is perfectly safe to consume' as stated by the EFSA et 'al.
I submitted a previous post on this topic to BP and it wasn't published for obvious reasons. They won't even state the quantity of their additives so you don't even know whether or not you are exceeding the 'quoted' maximum safe limits. In the case of for example somebody who uses whey protein regularly throughout the day you could be running into serious health problems.
This illustrates another company on the ever growing list, that are putting excessive profiteering way ahead of customer wellbeing.
Note to BP: don't even bother with any of your generic and inept 'dear customer, I'm sorry to hear...' and 'sucralose is perfectly safe' responses -quoting so called 'official food standards analysis' most customers aren't as easily fooled as you think they are.
Mend your ways BP! - go back and reassess your prices based on fair and true manufacturing costs and actual value rather than how fat your pockets are growing.. have some empathy for your customers and their health.

Just jumping on the bulk powders negativity review! Shame as recently have purchased with ease, this time not so lucky they still have my £200 money they will not refund until the package has either arrived with me which it won’t as Evri say there is an issue speak to Bulk, Bulk say I need to speak with Evri.. either way I’m down £200 and no protein at my door.. deaf ears and silly responses over emails. Constantly saying they will speak with Evri to see where my package is? Then respond saying they can only email them? And the result hasn’t changed for over a week! Will be hitting the social media over this one! Technically holding my money from me scared the protein my show up! It’s been 7 days Bulk wake up!!!!

Dishonest company with overpriced products. Placed an order and then an hour later asked to cancel as found items cheaper on Amazon. Customer service said the items were already shipped which was a lie. I received the shipping notice an hour later and the tracking number did not have any details attached so the item was clearly still in the warehouse. I will not be buying from them again.

Order hasn’t arrived and it has been over two weeks! There’s no customer service line or does anyone get back to you about your Order issues. Still waiting for my order, really poor service and communication and has put me off shopping a protein bran that is usually my first choice?

Customer for over 15 years. Bulk powders used to be the best and I would recommend them without hesitation to people, but not anymore. All the negative comments about it are 100% true. The price increases all 100% agree they have gone expensive. So I will address something that people may not have noticed about their whey protein products. They Habe not been transparent in the drop in quality and value for money. The cheapest whey product they used to do was the protein 80 which contained 23g of protein from a 30g scope. That mixed nicely and for those wanting to bulk and didn't mind the extra carbs was perfect. For those that wanted a leaner version they could pay for the protein 90 which offered 27g from a 30g serving. Roll forwards to now and other than the name changes, the protein content has fallen significantly to 20g of protein from a 35g serving. So despite using an extra 5g per serving you still end up 3g down so at 30g serving you get between 15-18g of protein. That means it is no longer a superior product. The worst part is that only the most observant will notice this despite paying a lot more for protein you also get a lot less protein for our money. To get the back to the 23g per 30g of protein you have to pay the premium price which had I known when I ordered, I would have rather paid more as the cheapest stuff tatses disgusting. It's more powdery like flour and clumps up and taste horrible which makes it a chore to drink. It now tastes like other brands or blends that contain whey and casein and soy protein blended. I would recommend looking at alternatives as the quality is not what it used to be at bulk and it does feel like they are trying to maximize profits by lowering the quality and the quantity of protein also increasing the serving size. 3 eggs has more protein than a serving of bulk whey.

Very dishonest management I bought couple of items for over 7 days now and I haven't received them yet on the delivery info on the website its 2-4 days bull...t
They were supposed to be on sale as its black Friday 2 days later prices changed for cheaper with the same percentage which 80% so I have been charge around 10£ extra when the original price is the same with the same percentage of discount

To be honest I haven't tried the products yet and I will write another review when I receive them f..k knows when maybe sometime next year lol

This review is about the customer service rather than the products, which are currently way overpriced! I had a complicated issue of a large order being delivered to the wrong address, it was quite a fiddly problem to resolve, but I have to say both Carmen and Saffron of the Customer Service Team were exemplary. Not only did they resolve the problem and organise a replacement order they dug into the detail to discover how the error had happened in the first place to ensure it can't happen again. They were both prompt at returning my emails and polite and patient despite me being a bit ratty at the start. They are both a real credit to their company and a shining example of good customer service.

Dishonest company, with very bad business practices. Stay away! They claim a code will give you 70% discount, but the price displayed is "already discounted", giving the illusion that you will pay much less once you add the code, which is not true. Also, they price items in such way that you always have to add more items to qualify for free delivery. Bulk is nothing but a SCAM!

Ordered the beef protein powder. Gave myself and my son an upset stomach so emailed to complain and get refund.
1st email, I get a response asking for order number, i respond with order number but I get nothing back until a few days later saying they have not heard from me so will be closing the query.
2nd email I send with order number, I get a response asking for batch number, i respond with batch number but I get nothing back until a few days later saying they have not heard from me so will be closing the query.

Was a loyal customer but the prices have gone insane in comparison to other places. Not worth it for some powder.

I've been a customer for the last 5 years and loved this brand. The protein tasted so much better than myProtein and the prices (during actual sales like Black Friday) were amazing.
For now over half a year though, priced have doubled, or even more.

Their price tricks were always obvious, the constant sales always were a psychological trick but I was fine with it because I felt like the price was a good deal.

But the prices only keep going up since months!
Last year I bought 5kg of pure Whey for 55€, today this would cost me 110€. Literally DOUBLE the price.

This is not worth it and not okay. The name change also irritated me, Bulk Powders at least had some recognizable features, bulk is just a verb, crazy that they even could use this alone as their brand name.
It's a bit like calling my candle business "candle" and trademarking it lol

Why even add a sweetener it could be left to the customer to use alternative honey ???

Worrying situation I need some peace of mind as we all exercise and work out to keep our body’s healthy not to put inside products that are not healthy

The coconut oil and peanut butter and Cacoa drops all good though

Same experience like you guys, I used to work there, friendly people and enviroinment, good discounts and deals online. Now The prices a rediculously high. It's just protein dehydrated to become powders not gold.

I've used Bulk for years and now their pricing has doubled! Premium brands such as Gold Standard and tbJP are available at similar pricing.
I'm also fed up of the ridiculous fluctuating Start prices and Sale discounts! I honestly thought this kind of marketing was no longer legal!

This company has gone awful. customer service run by a snotty teenager, and on top of that "sale" prices which dont make sense... for example i purchased an item for £10.99 two months ago and its currently now on "sale" for £16.50. what a scam. wont be renewing my bulk boost in the future.

I used to think this company was the best when it came to proteins and supplements. If you ever had an issue with their products they would treat their customers with respect and happily resolve your query. I don't know whether Bulk has been taken over since they changed their name from Bulk Powder but they've gone from being the best!!! to being the worst!!!
The last few of orders I've had the quality of the products have simply not been there! I was hoping that it was just a couple of bad expereiences, but NO!!! I've tried calling, emailling and even used the chat facility. All you get now - is fobbed off! Its ironic that they use AJ as one of their ambassadors as I feel like they now treat customers like AJ's treated Usyk's belts, tossed away and spat on.

Been a customer for nearly all of the 16 years of existence but the prices and price promotion tricks have gone too far.

We are all aware of the cost increases but there is no justification for whey protein previously costing £40 now costing £130, at best £75 on promotion.

I had used bulk for the last year and a half and to be honest I. Completely fed up of there dishonest offers they fluctuate there prices to suite what ever percentage offer they have on ,it's quite simple to go to past orders and see although this month they are offering up to 75 percent discount it's more expensive then the last time you ordered

Is the most dishonest method and as a long term customer it really grated on me if they were more transparent I would of continued to use them as the products were ok bit treating your customers like fools is not acceptable
