sag curry was lovely, husbands balti was salty but okay we were delayed and they were good enough to make the takeaway still piping hot 20 mins after our dues collection time which was fantastic

The food was 3.5 to 4 (also came with 2 extra papadums/onions Etc.) so not bad on that front But ordering & delivery was superb - thus 5/5.

Not a good experience

We always use the New Curry Centre but we were very disappointed this time. Took 90 minutes for our order to be delivered. Called after 1 hour and was told it was on its way. Rang back 20 minutes later and it still wasn't ready- we had obviously been lied to. The Manager did apologise and refunded some money but it spoiled the evening and we ended up eating far too late.

The order didn’t turn up so after…

The order didn’t turn up so after waiting over an hour I called the restaurant and they clearly hadn’t seen my order, I got it nearly 2 hours after I ordered and it was luke warm

I ordered online and was told it would…

I ordered online and was told it would be 10-20 minutes on the website. 20 minutes would have been 1945. The email then said it would be 2000. When I arrived at the restaurant I was told it would 2015. I eventually received my order at 2043.

The delay would not have been an issue had I not have been sat in the restaurant waiting to collect. I would prefer an honest and accurate estimation of the collection time. I’m furious!

I have enjoyed food from this…

I have enjoyed food from this restaurant before. But on this occasion, it was cold on delivery, the onion bhajis were brittle, and the lamb in the bhuna was delivered in three, massive, leathery chunks. Not good. Not worth 30 quid. Sorry.

Burned naan

Usually food is fine, this time both naans were burned and one was entirely inedible. As someone who can't have rice, this actually ruined my entire dinner. Chicken wasn't the best in the curries either but usually wouldn't make a fuss. For almost 35 quid for two meals it should be better quality

Non existent customer service

I ordered a takeaway from my local Indian through Chef Online on Saturday 14 Feb 26. The delivery time was one hour so at the hour point I phoned the restaurant and they told me it was nearly ready and would be sent out in a few minutes. 30 mins later it had still not arrived so I phoned again and was told it was on route. 30 mins later and two more calls to the restaurant it had still not arrived so I called again to cancel the order and request a refund. The restaurant told me that the refund would be processed by Chef Online so I emailed them immediately to request a refund but got no response. I chased them again three days ago but no response. I have now been on hold on their customer support line for 30 mins. I suspect no one is going to answer. I won’t be using Chef Online again. Their customer service is rubbish
