So far Brilliant

So far Brilliant! My partner and I have started the process of getting one of the new build flats at Newman Place, Littlemore, Oxford. The sales team, Charli and Laura, have been excellent. They're knowledgeable and responsive and have helped us through every stage of the process.

The board members had been alerted TO CATALYST HOUSING TELLING LIES TO RESIDENTS

CATALYST HOUSING ORGANISATION TELLING LIES TO RESIDENTS - EMAIL AND DOCUMENTS BEING UPLOADED ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND AVAILABLE TO ALL JOURNALISTS
The board members had been alerted to cover up of information and this is a serious issue and they will be fully investigated by the housing authority and even the Minister of Housing had been alerted. Catalyst Board Members this is serious breach of governance and your organization will be downgraded further should you tolerate cover up of information.
They sent emails that the service charges were not finalized and will not give a date when it will be finalized when residents email the organization. In fact the service charges had already been audited by an audit firm on 26 January 2021 (almost 4 months ago). When they were told to explain the delay they will not reply and this is a cover up of information and conspiracy to hide information and this is a serious offence Messrs Board Members to deliberately withhold information and affecting the governance issues.
There are emails that can be shown that the board members have been informed and all journalists will be sent a copy of the emails if necessary

Kitchen hole leaking urine from the toilet

We have had our toilet leaking into our kitchen for over two years, which is currently on the verge of falling apart. It has a large hole which leaks urine and toilet water this is so unsanitary we can’t continue living like rats.We have mould everywhere all over the house our last repair was 2006, my mother is elderly with numerous health problems as a result. The repair men that come are useless temporarily finding a solution but not doing anything about it. We’ve sent out Thousands of complaints.We have a lawyer now everyone get your selves a lawyer.

They are the worst housing association…

They are the worst housing association I have ever come across, they lost my rent money and when I complained about a neighbour leaving rubbish outside, blocking me in my parking space and playing loud music they ignored me. They don't get back to you about any enquiries for days and have no clue about customer service.

The worst

The worst, housing offers are at Catalyst Housing Limited. They do nothing to help stop anti-social behaviour other than 'speaking to the tenant' and sending countless of letters.
I was physically abused by a tenant and after many attacks, I retaliated. I was then told I 'broke my tenancy agreement' and they put me on a warning. Disgraceful!

Mutual exchange was supposed to be done…

Mutual exchange was supposed to be done initially for 15 March restarted the process done my inspection still waiting 4 children in one room. They talk about look after there property. They’ve done the inspection passed with flying colours what are we waiting for!!!!!

Do not buy a leasehold from Catalyst. Big mistake

My first floor apartment flooded with human excrement, that is each time the 2nd - 6th floor flats above mine flushed their toilets or bath or used the sink, their waste was backing into my toilet, sink and bathtub because the main waste stack was blocked back in Spet 2019 at 6am.

Their were so many different tissues and colours of water coming through it was unfathomable. I have two young kids who were 9 months and 4 years old so is all waking up to this sound was first confusing. My kids were so and I couldn’t even comfort them because I had slipped and was covered in other peoples waste.
Catalyst took 4 hours to stop the waste coming through and unblock the main stack. The building janitor was very helpful to suck up the bulk of the waste water but I then had a 5 hour cleaning job because as a leaseholder, that’s my problem said Catalyst. It took three months to replace everything through contents insurance including flooring, all towels and bed linen and so much more.

Last night the same thing happened, this time out of hours so everything took even longer to resolve and no janitor to help either.
I have now cleaned up. The apartment smells already, my kids have to stay somewhere less till I know it’s clean enough, and now the struggle starts to hold Catalyst accountable.
Wish me luck.

I’d honestly say in my 10 years…

I’d honestly say in my 10 years experience with management companies one of the worst I have ever dealt with.
No care for customers or their needs whatsoever. Very poor service.

Professional cleaning service Armitage House

Thank you for providing great cleaning service every time.
Communal areas are consistently cleaned super professionally to a very high standard every day.
The two ladies who came to clean where very polite and did such an amazing job.

Awful and I can’t wait to sell my flat

I bought a catalyst property in Burnt Oak in May 2020. It certainly has not lived up to what was promised. The lift breaks down pretty much weekly. There is a disgusting sewage smell coming from the ground floor that infiltrates into most of the flats. Cctv doesn’t actually save any recordings. Due to this, squatters have now taken up residency in the commercial space below the building being aggressive and unhygienic in their behaviour. The residents here have complained many times about these issues and nothing really seems to be done. We aren’t even kept well informed about what catalyst plan to do. I will be selling as soon as I possibly can.

My disabled elderly relative lives in a…

My disabled elderly relative lives in a Catalyst Housing property in ladbroke Grove, west London. They are beautiful georgian properties but none are ever maintained. the exteriors are shabby with peeling paint and exposed plaster. My relatives flat is a basement one and has had damp and mould problems for years. All have been reported and inspected by Catalyst Housing but nothing has ever been done to rectify this. Are Catalyst in financial difficulties? I dont know why they dont care about ther lovely old properties and leave them to rot. All the Catalyst properties in my relative's road are in a similar state of disrepair and have been for years.

Edit, thank you for reply Tamara. We have been down this route with the repairs team and they have visited, aknowedged repair is needed but nothing gets done. I will try again but doubt in these days of Covid repairs will get done any quicker. Since you're here though, could you tell me why your beautiful Listed building historic properties are left to go to rack and ruin on the exterior? Im not just talking about one. Catalyst own at least 3 properties i know of on Lancaster road w11. They stand out because they are the ones crumbling next to the carefully maintained private dwellings they neighbour. Its such a shame. Surely you can afford a bit of paint ?

Reading through the other reviews on here though, it seems our experience does reflect the service you provide to your customers, whether it is one you wish to or not.

catalyst as bad as grenfell tmo.

months later we are still waiting for a simple hallway light repair. meantime all of us including ill people and children have to go up and down stairs in total darkness.

Thank god this isn't my housing…

Thank god this isn't my housing association. I made the sme complaint about Anti-Social and threatening behaviour twice and received no reply. Have now put into complaint and still not received a reply two weeks later even now though a formal complaint! Unacceptable.

The Aldwick Housing Group Team Review

The community team at Aldwyck Housing Group has been nothing less than perfect. Hard working, considerate to customer Champions, Community voice groups, Scrutiny groups and all other customer involvement. There has been leadership throughout my 10 years of community involvement and it has been a pleasure to attend the various meetings where so much has been discussed and in many cases implemented. I find that the members of the community groups are also dedicated to providing the team with good ideas and to discuss these together.
