I have had the same problem as many other reviewers in that my items were not delivered in the promised timescale and I only got an automated response to my queries. After reading the other reviews I decided to raise a dispute on PayPal and I have to say the response was very quick. The requested refund was in my bank the day after I raised the dispute. Not really happy though as it has been hard to get replacement items in the same size/price range from anywhere else. I ordered from this company as they had exactly what I needed - pity they couldn't deliver. Only upside is the quick refund.

Emails are ignored and the phone rarely seems to be answered, I did get through once and was promised a refund but it was never given. I was strung along and told the item was on back order, so I am outside of the dispute period with Paypal.

Ordered from them in March, items never received, promised to refund in May as they were never going to get the item back in stock but refund never processed - in short they kept our money to which they were not entitled.

The phone is taken off the hook during office hours and they will not answer my emails.

BEWARE - THEY HAVE RENAMED THEMSELVES AS GREEN VALLEY POULTRY SUPPLIES. I cant imagine they are any more reputable.

Try to call and the phone has been taken off the hook - no response to e-mails or dispute tickets from the website.

Order Date: 18 June 2014 07:51 GMT . As at 27/06/2014 15.05 GMT, still not received goods. No response to emails or facebook.

We ordered £253.56 worth of equipment a month ago, it has not arrived and despite frequent emails and phone calls we have had no communication from them. This is the first time in many years of online shopping. We felt we had been robbed.
We opened a claim via PayPal and now have our money back - will now go to a reputable company for our fencing. PayPal saved the day!

Ordered items that their website said was in stock but never got anything for 10 days .I called them time and time again and eventually got through to told one item was out of stock with a 6 weeks wait so l cancelled that item and asked for the in stock items to be sent out which they said they would but nothing.I have tried phoning them emailing them but no reply so now I have requested a full refund as I am not satisfied with their idea of customer service lets wait and see what happens. I would advise people never to use these people they don't deserve your custom.

I really wish I had seen these reviews before I placed my order. My poor chickens and their coop need a total clean to rid them of the dreaded red mite. I ordered the preferred method of treatment - Poultry Shield disinfectant and Diatomaceous Earth - in large quantities to treat my flock of eight hens. Instant acknowledgement and debit to my credit card and then nothing further. I chased after 8 days and was told that two products weren't even in stock and they weren't sure when they were actually coming into stock. Was offered Smite as a substitute but I declined having been recommended Poultry Shield. I was disappointed that they didn't tell me immediately that there was going to be a delay in fulfilling the order so that I could have made an informed choice. Their excuse was that, whilst they knew it was going to be close, they thought they might be able to hit the 8 working days limit. Hmmm - not sure they would ever have been able to do that.

I am wondering whether they actually only order in from their supplier when they get an order themselves - hence delay. This may be true for some products.

In this day and age, we are used to instant fulfillment. This company is unable to match up and so I will not be using them again. I have asked for an immediate refund - I will watch carefully to see how long it takes to come in.

Ordered 3 poultry items 31st March, chickens & myself are still waiting!, no response from numerous emails, no one appears to be able to pick up a phone. Customer service is a joke, I don't believe there is anyone actually there, good job I didn't order anything chickens were desperate for, I'd be looking at a pile of feathers by now. I didn't order anything out of the ordinary so cannot imagine what the delay might be.
The really annoying thing is the total lack of response to any contact, & to add insult to injury they have just sent me an email( no don't get excited, it wasn't that one), asking me to review my recent purchase.....are they having a laugh or what, I would love to give them a review, if only I'd received anything to review in the first place.

My first order from here. It took a while to arrive. When my order eventually came the main item I wanted was not there. A note inside said it would follow. Several days later still no sign of it so I sent an email. When the firm responded I was informed the item I had ordered and paid for was out of stock and did I want another item instead. As I needed it and had already waited I ordered it from another supplier which was delivered the next day. A the same time I cancelled my order with Wells and asked for a refund. No response. I then sent a further e mail asking for my money back as several days later I still had no response. Imagine my surprise several more days later when the item appeared left on my doorstep. Inside the box was no invoice or information on how to return the item. All in all a very poor service and I now have an item I don't want which I now need to send back. The bottom line is there are faster, more efficient, customer focused firms out there. I for one will never use this firm again

prompt delivery with the goods just as described. The egg boxes were of a good quality and are perfect for our use.

Ordered at 3 gallon poultry drinker one afternoon in April 2014 - arrived middle of the following afternoon. All in excellent condition and at a price which compared really well with those elsewhere on line.

I purchased Stalosan, egg boxes and few other bits. When I opened the box I was engulffed with a cloud of stalosan the contents of the stalosan were in the box as the lid had not been properly secured or taped The packaging in the box was insufficient due to its weight. The egg boxes were damaged and covered in stalosan. I telephoned the company as soon as I opened the box and took photos of the contents, I was told by a gentleman that these items would be replaced, but I have not received anything and despite sending 2 emails asking for an update both of these have been ignored.
I would not be using this company again, which is a shame!

really fast and reliable service really happy no faults at all, will always use them in future .looked on Amazon and Wells Poultry came out better on price even with delivery charges :)
