Order never showed up

Order never showed up. Customer service rep told me to call UPS and deal with it myself. They want me to wait 2 weeks past the supposed arrival date to call them back for a refund. In the meantime I can't reorder my children's school backpacks in case they show up, but I can't cancel the order either. Totally stalled. So many reviewed lost the same issues.

I placed an order 3 weeks ago

I placed an order 3 weeks ago. Tracked it down says package damaged in delivery. TCP never called to tell me or send me a new package. I had to call them and even after calling them AND speaking to a supervisor, they refused to send me a new package. How does this make any sense at all?

I would give Children Place online no…

I would give Children Place online no stars. They are absolutely horrible. The worst company online. They don’t supply your items. The first time they only ship one item. Then, I call to ask where my other items, they only sent 4. Then, I didn’t get 4 more pieces. They told me they can’t reship my 4 pieces. Don’t shop with children’s place online no more. Horrible Don’t order from them.

Bad customer service!

I never leave reviews but want to warn potential customers about their horrible customer service! I ordered over $200 worth of school clothes for my son. I was offered 30% off my order if I signed up for a children’s place credit card. That’s $60 off! So even though I didn’t really want to, I did it. The amount was around $140 in checkout after the discount. Went to my PayPal, and paid for the merch. They charged the full amount of $200! I called customer service to either cancel my order or receive a refund, which I received neither one, even after speaking to a manager. Only thing they offers was 30% off my next purchase. 😑 Bad business. Customer service was a joke. Too bad since I love their clothes

Company lost my business when they partnered with LaserShip

I have to shop online with this company because our local store closed down. I have been ordering online from them for over two years and never had a problem until recently. I placed an order 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received my full order. Half of my order was delivered within a few days via USPS. They decided to send the rest of my order through LaserShip. Everyone knows that LaserShip is the worst shipping company ever. My order has been sitting in the LaserShip warehouse for over 2 weeks. the Children’s Place will not refund my money and LaserShip will not deliver my order. I am very disappointed with the Children’s Place and will no longer be purchasing anything from them.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. My package never came even though it says delivered. Its been days and now I was told I cannot get a refund for my money because I can't prove I never received it. Never ordering anything from this company again.

I've been buying from The Children's…

I've been buying from The Children's Place for 20 years. First for my children and now for my grandchildren. The only issue I have with them is their shoes aren't made very well. I stopped buying shoes from them. I started buying online about 3 years ago because I LOVE FREE SHIPPING! No minimum purchase required. I live almost 3 hours from my grandchildren. I love buying online and having it shipped directly to them. Sometimes it does take a little longer to arrive than I would like but the bargains and free shipping are worth a few extra days wait.

Horrible service

2 online orders were never delivered. They were lost in transit. Children's place refuses to refund my money even though they can clearly see they were lost. Will never order from or purchase from again. Customer service sucks and won't help.

The children’s place opened a credit…

The children’s place opened a credit card in my name without my consent because it allowed them an increased commission check. I will never ever shop at children’s place again. I have never in my life seen anything like this!!!!

They are crooks

They are crooks! They lie about your order, tell you that it’s in shipping process, so they can’t refund you. How is it in shipping process in 12 hours! I want a refund! They are unethical, hence THAT’S why they have a lawsuit now. Just sad, I will be disputing this with my bank!

This is the worst experience that I have had to deal with in along time. I opened a charge account because they were offering the 30% off your first purchase. When I was checking out I entered the code and the code wouldn't accept but stated that the code would be applied at check out, so I checkout the merchandise and the 30% didn't apply to the account so I call customer service and was informed they are sorry the code didn't apply but they could give me something for a future purchase. I said I'm not interested in a future purchase I wanted it for this purchase and the rep. stated to me we can't make any modification to an order once it's place. I in returned told him I wanted to cancel the order and cancel the card as well. I was transferred to the credit card department and I cancelled the card and the rep. stated that the whole order would be cancelled. But the card was cancelled and the merchandise was delivered after I cancelled everything. I called CS and spoke with a Supervisor and her disposition to me was even if you stated to cancel, an order we can't make changes once order has been placed. I said that is a bull crap we are in the 21st century and everything is controlled by computer and order could have been cancelled. I am very displeased a company this size that they are the worse when it comes to customer satisfaction. I never write reviews but there is a first for everything. I used to order all my grandchildren clothes from here. I will spend my money elsewhere. You have lost a loyal customer.

Ridiculous

I choose to place my payments in the mail and do it long before their due dates. I then receive not one, but two late fee bills in the mail (One in January, now one in April) I called in January to dispute, right away the late fee was dropped. Today, it was the total opposite.
Turns out, my payment was received 1 day late thanks to the postal service. Looking more into things, the reason for the lateness could be because the due date for my payment was on a Sunday when the postal office is closed. My payment was "supposedly" received that Monday (what a coincidence!). Immediately my account gets pinged and a late fee was applied. I feel that this is absolutely ridiculous not taking into consideration the pandemic and the lateness with USPS! You would think that the company would understand but NOPE! The representative Danielle who I spoke to and supervisor Robin were rude and offered NO help. Per the supervisor, a customer cannot have a late fee erased from their account more than once. This is beyond outrageous because if you look the date on my check and the date that the envelope was stamped by the postal service, you will clearly see it is not my fault for its lateness in arrival. I am outraged, furious, and frustrated that I was offered no help in reconciling this late fee to where this company has lost itself a customer!

Shipping problems

When I called they told Me my package was handed off to someone at the post office & they don’t have the tracking number or information for it. they than transfer me to the claims department where I was told my payment did not go thru and that’s why my package was not delivered,I than explained that I had to pay children place not them for my package. I was than transferred to someone else who stated I can only get my package if I was able to pick it up in person. I can’t even get in touch with anyone at children’s place to see what’s going on and why. This is the last time I’ll EVER order any online.

I was at the white marsh store number…

I was at the white marsh store number 558 today. The line was long because only two employees were working, Harmon, the mgr and Charon. I have shopped at tcp for over 33 years. I stood in line while my son shopped for his son. Charon rang up over $250 for my son. I put in the code to receive 30 percent off to apply for the credit card. I asked her befor applying do I get the 30 percent even if I’m rejected. She said yes. I applied and when I typed my phone and email she wanted me to apply again. I didn’t want my credit ran again so I ask for the manager. Harmon said we only give 30percent when you are approve. I said she didn’t tell me that. She said she is new. I said that’s not an excuse. She rudely said I’m not doing it. I asked for her name and said I have shopped here over 20 plus years and have never had a nasty manager. We left the store after spending time picking out the clothes for over an hour.

Their shipping is crappy

Their shipping is crappy, it takes forever even before the pandemic. It is like pulling teeth to get a customer service person, I will not order ever again from them, which is sad because I like their clothes. I don't want to wait 14 days to receive it, just go into the store.

I will stick with Amazon or Walmart

Ordered things online thinking I could return in store - nothing fit! Go to store can’t return bc they are closing! Now stuck with clothes that don’t for be too expensive to ship back. Also their automated system is awful!!!! Guess I will stick with Amazon and Walmart - reason why these 2 turn a profit and others go bankrupt - it’s called customer service and convenience.

I usually go in person instead of ordering online but I've never had an issue. They offer really good prices and sales and you can find cute t shirts, pants, and shoes each season. Planning my next trip to update my toddler's wardrobe now!

Ridiculous Store Policy

I requested authorization to allow my daughter to return some items (she lives across the country from me) and have the returns credited either to my credit card or her own credit card. Obviously, 3000 miles away she would not be able to physically bring my credit card to the store. I was told the store could not do this and she would only be able to get a store credit. Every other store on the planet can process a return with a receipt directly back to the original credit card used without having to physically present the credit card in the store. Children’s Place has lost a customer!
