I cannot believe it! Prices are terrible!

I cannot believe it! I usually had good review for my Children's Place because of their low prices, free shipping and I usually got my clothes in a timely manner.. yesterday I checked the prices on the same kind of clothes that I ordered previously and the clothes are now twice as much as I paid! I used to pay $5.50 for a graphic shirt with a cute saying on it ..now that same shirt is now $10.90!!! why the increase in the prices??? I will not shop at this store anymore until their prices come down! that's ridiculous!

Great place for Uniforms

I just recently placed an order online and my experience was great. I’ve purchased many times from The Childrens Place online and I store and always has been a good experience. The uniform section is great and holds up to my active kids. Quality products and stylish. Highly recommend.

Children place has the worst customer…

Children place has the worst customer service
If you place an order and made any errors in doing so they cannot be corrected. Even if they are done immediately
They refer all errors to shipping company and don’t ask for a refund even though you never get you merchandise. You will always get a person in another country who’s trying to speak English.

I have ordered ALL of my kids clothes…

I have ordered ALL of my kids clothes through them. I have had several issues when packages arrived with wrong sizes sent to me by THEIR ERROR. Customer service was impossible to get an answer from via email. Never received not one reply. Then contacting 1-800 number Took over 30 min to resolve the issue. One time I had to drive 45 min out of my way to nearest store to return items. Since their lawsuit, ALL PRICES HAVE GONE UP! Not too happy about this not at all!!! I have Credit account with them as well, which they lowered my limit for whatever reason without my knowledge. Then, using the lawsuit discounts, they do nothing at check out online for taking $$$ off. I won’t be ordering from here anymore unless they become American made and American customer service. Only then, I will pay these prices. I don’t support China made anymore. The prices are an inflation of price gouging big time and it’s just really sad the way this world has become. I really enjoyed shopping at this store for my children, as everything was very inexpensive and well made. I cannot pay these new prices since their settlement issue.

I would give them 0 if I could

I would give them 0 if I could. Placed an order and it said apply for a credit card and you will automatically receive 30% off at checkout. Applied it said congratulations you were approved your discount will automatically be applied at checkout.
Showed me what my new balance would be but when I checked out the 30% was not taken off. I emailed them immediately because their customer service center is closed on weekends. Gave them 5 days to respond.....no answer. Called and they refuse to credit me back the difference. Told me they will give me a coupon for next time. There won't be a next time. I sent everything to my son directly because they live 2 hours away. Bought everything my grandson needs now because I was supposed to get 30% off. This is false advertising, they do not stand by their own advertisement. They told me to go return everything and repurchase it. I will return everything and never purchase anything from them again. Buyer beware!!!!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They sent my order in 2 different packages. I receive the first one, but the second one I never received. It states it was delivered. USPS was really no help either. Children's Place keeps giving me automated responses and nobody picks up their customer service line. I went into the store, also no help. I have contacted customer service 4x now, getting the same exact automated response. Will never order with them again.

I paid extra to get my purchase into…

I paid extra to get my purchase into for Easter. Paid more for the shipping than for the two dresses. Then I receive an email saying my package would not only arrive a day late, but delivered on the free shipping date. Customer service was no help, claimed they couldn't recall the package since I no longer wanted it due to it's lateness. They can recall a package, we ship thousands packages a week via UPS and we recall all the time. It's not that they couldn't help, the simply wouldn't. I will NO LONGER buy from them. Not worth it.

RET REV TRANSACTION

So there is good deals, I only purchase clothes on sale from their online store. Usually comes fast. No issues. I noticed several times refunds and then refund reversals with a few cents difference of the original order... which, whatever. However I just spent about 100$ on 2T shorts, t shirts &sandals for summer and for each charge they've charged me twice, the double charges being within 50 cents or less. Its been 4 days and I'm still waiting to be refunded the extra charge and this makes me uncomfortable. I did not authorize this, they did not inform me when purchasing that they would do this and it makes me nervous. No other online merchant does this. Its not an authorization hold, its a processed transaction and a refund reversal however there is no refund. When I make a purchase, I don't expect to be charged double whether temporary or not. I'm a single mom on disability, and this is very inconvenient for me especially this month as my sons birthday is April 8 (today April 1). Seriously, can you guys not do this in one transaction? I feel highly deterred from dealing with this company again. This just does not make sense, nor does their explanation of it. The bad reviews make it worse.

Worst Customer Service among Childrens Retailers

I placed 2 orders (one from Childrens Place and the other from Sugar & Jade) that were shipped together. My package is lost and customer service refuses to help resolve my issue with reordering. I spent a total of 2 hours on the phone getting nowhere. The first attempt to contact them I was told to wait 10 days since the last package scan and call back. I waited the necessary time frame and was asked to wait another week which is unacceptable at this point. The website allows me to request a refund, but for reshipment at no cost to me it instructs me to request a refund and reorder the items or call customer service for assistance. I wouldn’t have a problem with this except I used a $5 reward on one order and a $10 promo code I received via text message on the other order. By requesting a refund, I lose the $15 promotional credits. Customer service refused to help me reorder because rewards and promo codes can’t be reissued. They also said if I reorder the same items, they can’t manually apply the discounts as a refund. I should NOT legally lose promotional value since this is not a return and I am just trying to get the same items I ordered. I earned the reward and the $10 text promo shouldn’t be wasted because of items not received which is not my fault. All of their direct competitors provide far superior customer service in situations like this! Childrens Place does not care about customer satisfaction or retention for that matter. Customer service is located in Columbia and the agents including a supervisor and manager I spoke with basically read from a script in a robotic way without helping. I messaged on Facebook and sent an email in hopes of receiving assistance with placing my reorder, but have not received a response. What is the point of outsourcing an entire department that does not even come close to fulfilling the expectation of what customer service is??

DON'T SUPPORT THIS COMPANY

BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! IT TOOK SO MANY EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS JUST TO TALK TO SOMEONE. I WAS MISSING AN (ONE) ITEM FROM MY ORDER. THEY DIDNT EVEN REACH OUT TO ME OR REFUND MY MONEY RIGHT AWAY. IT WAS MY TIME THAT WAS TAKEN AWAY, WHY DONT COMPANIES CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS ANYMORE. THEN THEY DONT CARE TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE IT RIGHT SO YOU CONTINUE BEING THEIR CUSTOMER? THESE BIG CORP. DO NOT CARE. I WISH I COULD CARE LESS AT MY JOB BUT GUESS WHAT....I CANT AND I WONT BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT EVERY SINGLE PERSON I CARE FOR. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHAMED. NEVER AGAIN WILL I MAKE THIS MISTAKE....SHOP LOCAL OR WHERE YOU KNOW THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. LUCKY THEY GET 1 STAR, I'D GIVE THEM ZERO STARS

Horrible its literally Christmas…

Horrible its literally Christmas tomorrow and my package was so post be delivered to my home but instead they sent to a UPS store where it said for days and I didn't realize it until I start wrapping gifts that missing items and now I'm a day to late and they sent my package back but they delivered half a and now my kids won't have they Christmas present and their is nothing I can do and I won't be able to get those items. Then I called children place and told them what happen and all they can do is return the money I don't want the money I won't my items and to have them sent back out but all they can do is return my money I will be closing my account.

I give this company ZERO stars

I give this company ZERO stars! They will not help me get my money back! Lost package….giving me the run around. “You have to talk to shipping company”, then after you track down which shipping company had the package last…they tell you they cannot find the package either….You have to call back to Children’s Place just so they can tell you that they still won’t help you, “You have to call your bank”. What kinda business are you running??…..TRASH! No customer service here, I want a refund or my coats re-shipped. They will not help you with NOTHING!!

First of all I have been shopping and…

First of all I have been shopping and placing online orders from Children's Place for years and never have had an issue until now. No one seems to want to help and I get the run around between Children's Place and the shipping company they use, LaserShip. I placed a large online order for a child with medical disabilities that I sponsored for the Holiday season that is in need. I received an email that my order was delivered at 4:19pm on 10/26 however it was only 10am when I received this email on the 26th. I immediately on 10/26 emailed Children's Place as an inquiry to my delivery since this was odd to me. As of today (11/1) I still have not received any response back from them. I contacted customer service the next day (10/27) and informed that I never received my package. They stated that since it is showing delivered in their system I have to contact LaserShip and have them investigate and that I will then need to provide proof to Children's Place from LaserShip that there was an issue with the delivery prior to them being able to do anything. So I contacted LaserShip to be told by the automated system that due to the call volume I will need to go the their website and submit an email regarding my package I never receoved. I submitted an email and no one has got back to me so I contacted Childrens Place again today and informed of my issue again and then how I submitted an email per LaserShip processes and was told again by the customer service rep that because their system is showing the package is delivered they can not do anything about it and that I have to have the proof from LaserShip that there was an issue with my package once they speak to the delivery driver....even though in their system is shows delivered as well but no one seems to think that it is odd that I received an email at 10am that my package had been delivered at 4:19pm when that timeframe was still hours away. Not happy! I have been shopping at this place for years and then the first time I have an issue no one wants to do anything about it and now the child I sponsored that is in need will not be able to receive these items and I am out $100. I will never shop at this place again and I am canceling my credit card with them.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

I placed a 22 item order that was split into 4 different orders on the 5th of October and to date I have received 4 pieces. That do not even match, My daughter has picture day coming up at school and we have NOTHING to wear thanks to the lies told by this company in reference to delivery date. Customer Service could care less and I have made several calls concerned about my order and they could absolutely care less. If I can not grab it from the store I will never order from this place again. Thank you for ruining my daughters Pre-K Picture Day :(

Will not assist when carriers lose packages they just offer coupons

I placed an order for school clothes for my son that consisted of 21 items total with a total of around $240. The first order with 5 items in it shipped via UPS and I had the items in a few days with no issues. The second box was 16 items totaling to $185 and it was shipped via Lasership. When I checked the tracking for the items since it had almost been two weeks, I see the details say it was delivered at my front door about 4 days prior. I immediately checked my doorbell camera for this date and time and watched the footage. No one came to my house to deliver anything. I watched all of the footage for that day as well as two days after and no packages were ever delivered.

I checked the tracking details and it shows my package was delayed to weather at 7:52pm. The next details read as follows: “9:16pm loaded onto vehicle; 9:18pm out for delivery; 9:19pm Delivered at front door”. This is physically impossible as I do not live across the street from a Lasership facility, and I live pretty deep inside my neighborhood.

The next day I called The Children’s place and after sitting on hold for 10 minutes, they told me that it says delivered and I need to call Lasership. I called Lasership, and after sitting on hold on an annoying recorded loop about tracking items online instead of on the phone for 58 minutes someone finally answered with a terrible attitude. I explained to her what happened and she said the package is marked as lost and I should let the seller know. Then she stated they would tell the seller. I asked why the package was marked delivered if it wasn’t. And I also asked why because this makes it harder for me to get my money back.

I called Children’s Place back and sent the email I received from Lasership and they still could not help me. The email was BS and was as vague as ever. Lasership is a crappy delivery company for those who are not familiar. They are a parcel delivery company that I honestly feel is trash. They do not seem reputable. This is not my opinion from this interaction but because I am a concierge manager at a DC high-rise and I deal with them often. It somewhat seems like they hire anyone to deliver items and do not hold them accountable for them when they fail to do the job they signed up for.

I ended up asking for the manager of the person I was speaking with. The manager gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me I received my package even after I offered up the doorbell footage from my camera as proof that I did not receive it. I expressed I would prefer to have the items instead of a refund and she told me that she could give me a $50 coupon. I politely asked her why she thinks I would want a $50 coupon when I spent $185 on items, and I asked her to make that make sense. She asked me if I was done and I told her that I would be done when I have my items or my refund. She told me that no one here would be giving me a refund so I told her some choice words and that I would just dispute the charge on my Children’s Place credit card.

I placed 2 different orders only received one.

I placed 2 different orders. They split this into 4 packages. 2 arrived in a timely manner. The other two got stuck in transit. Shipping info kept changing so it was hard to track. At this same time my mother in law ordered also, her order never showed up. Then one day says it was delivered and it wasn’t. So she is out her money. Knowing they did this to her I got on contacting someone about my order before it tried to say mine was delivered. I went online and made a claim that both packages had not come. I called the company twice. Both times was told they didn’t know what was going on just slow shipping. ( the packages had been sitting at one location for a week with ontrac) Finally after a week and a half I made another claim online saying they hadn’t arrived and they did finally let me request a refund. I did get my refund. I feel like one of the lucky ones. Buying online shouldn’t be such a gamble. Prices were good and clothing cute. But that does no good if you never get the items. Can’t figure out if children’s place is crooked and never send most packages or if they just choose crappy delivery services. Either way maybe 50/50 chance you might get your stuff and about the same on getting your money back if you don’t.

Order never showed up

Order never showed up. Customer service rep told me to call UPS and deal with it myself. They want me to wait 2 weeks past the supposed arrival date to call them back for a refund. In the meantime I can't reorder my children's school backpacks in case they show up, but I can't cancel the order either. Totally stalled. So many reviewed lost the same issues.
