I purchased a shelving unit from Chilli, and unfortunately the product was defective.
The issues were not cosmetic opinions but clear manufacturing faults:
The pre‑drilled holes in the cross shelf were not properly drilled, making correct assembly impossible.
The holes in the cross shelf were misaligned, which caused the entire shelf section to sit unevenly and not level when assembled.
In addition, the veneer was damaged and scratched in several places upon delivery.
I documented all issues carefully with photos and submitted a formal reclamation under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen 2022:260). Despite this, Chilli chose to treat the case as a voluntary return and attempted to charge a return fee, instead of handling it as a reklamation for a faulty product.
A defective product should not result in costs for the customer. The handling of this case has been disappointing and not in line with consumer protection rules.
I would recommend future buyers to document products thoroughly upon delivery and be prepared to stand firm if issues arise.

Customer service is horrible, not answering questions regarding bought product, choosing to ignore it and answering something else (probably an AI answer). Also, the pieces in the instructions aren’t even the same received, making the assembly horrible. Furthermore, the overall impression of the instructions were that they were made in random order.

1. The customer support experience has been extremely poor. There is no phone number or direct contact available, and communication is limited to chat and email, where the responses are typically generic, such as “sorry” or “unfortunately we can’t do that.” I was informed in person at the store that my order had been updated as requested. However, two days later, I received a call from a “No Caller ID” number stating that the change could not be made. When I followed up with customer support via chat, I was told that they never call customers. This inconsistency is unacceptable and reflects a lack of professionalism and accountability. I do not understand this way of operating, nor is it reasonable to expect customers to spend excessive time trying to resolve issues through chat or email.
2. The delivery was scheduled for March 2nd, but it has not been completed as agreed.

I have ordered my all furniture for my new house from Chilli but had terrible experience with the customer care. I cancelled coffee table order in advance but the delay was from their side and they told me on mail that they will track the delivery and will cancel it. But they failed to do so and now it has been delivered to my house. To return the customer care is asking me to pay 995 kr which is frustrating. I tried to explain them on mail but the person in Customer care team is totally ignoring it. I will never order from Chilli. The furniture is unique and good but customer care is bad. I told them to call directly and sort out but they want me to sit and do the mail trail. I have my other important work and everyday I m busy in sending them mail telling the same thing that it's their fault that the coffee table is delivered.

I’m having a terrible experience with Chilli’s customer service. I ordered two bathroom cabinets, one large and one small, in specific colors. They were delivered in the opposite colors.
I contacted customer service immediately, but after more than a week I am still waiting for an answer. During this time, all my staff have been unable to work because the cabinets are on the floor and installation cannot be completed.
I also paid for delivery and installation (montering), which has been completely wasted due to Chilli’s mistake. Very disappointing service and lack of responsibility. I would not recommend ordering from Chilli.

I ordered a TV-Stand from Chilli, it took almost a month with an passive aggressive email before they even registered my order with DHL for shipping.
I was told it would arrive week 52, basically 4 weeks after my order was placed. 9 Days later I wrote another aggressive mail as the shipment hadn't even arrived at DHL, the same day DHL confirmed my order and arrival date.
So basically Chilli will only do their job after you have placed your order when you remind them too with aggressive emails!

I bought a sofa set from Chilli, and after only a few months of normal use, the buttons on one of the sofas started falling off by themselves.
This is not wear and tear.
This is poor workmanship.
I contacted customer service, expecting a reasonable solution. Instead, I was told that the buttons attached to the sofa are NOT covered by warranty.
Let that sink in for a moment:
👉 Parts that are permanently attached to the sofa are somehow excluded from warranty.
That makes absolutely no sense.
If buttons fall off after a short time without misuse, it clearly indicates low quality or faulty assembly. Refusing responsibility and hiding behind fine print is not acceptable.
This experience has shown me:
Poor product quality
Zero accountability
Very disappointing customer service
I regret this purchase and will not buy from Chilli again.
If you value durability and after-sales support, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
