My silver car had a couple of small fairly deep scratches.
The paint dried slightly darker than the paint on the car but could live with it. I attempted the repair many times using different timings but the paint kept completely coming out of the scratch when using the blending fluid.
In the end I just painted the scratch without using the fluid which will hopefully last until I can get a smart repair guy to do the job professionally. It is probably my lack of skill and might work better on a chip but for me it was an expensive fail.

I was amazed that I could fix the chip on my car without making a mess of it. Simple process all equipment supplied and an excellent colour match

Chipex matched the shade of my motorhome exactly! Several visits from smart repair technicians failed to match the shade; a visit to a Fiat repair garage doubted if they could match the shade (it’s only grey!) But Chipex matched perfectly first time! Well done, I’m very impressed and would use again if needed on another vehicle. Perfect match!

Really impressive for small rock chips and covering up scratches!

The Chipex paint repair system kit is brilliant. The kit has everything you need with loads of paint, applicators, cloths, and polish. All high quality products with a superb paint match. It’s a bargain. The before, during and after pictures speak for themselves.

Great product - can hardly see the chips on bonnet - not 100% perfect but that is down to to the depth of the chips - cant knock the product

Another great repair!

I would say trust the process! Had a larger area to repair that had gone through a few layers so I left a blob of paint on it and waited for it to dry. The worry is that you've made a mess with all that paint but after some patience and light rubbing with the blending solution very impressed and can only see it if you look very closely. Perfect colour match too

Great colour match. More complicated than just applying paint as you blend the paint in. Results are amazing, so it’s worth the effort.

Never put paint to a car before in my life, chipex was so easy, some chips were fully gone in my first attempt, the deeper ones took another try , fantastic results for a great price, colour match was spot on aswell , definitely buy again

Colour match was not correct and paint did not blend to fill level. Tried multiple times to build up and blend, followed instructions closely. Realistically it was never going to recreate a shop finish but I must admit I fell for the ‘before after images’ and reviews. Maybe works on small stone chips but not on a scratch without the correct colour and a spray of lacquer over. Also metallic paint notoriously difficult to match. Didn’t have time to talk to Chipex regarding colour as rental car had to be returned. -Update Chipex contacted me and have given a full refund based on the colour match

Colour is not right. Stands out like a sore thumb.
I'll get my local paint shop to make up a tin for 10 quid. Crazy money for what it is. Very disappointed.

Used chipex on son’s first car. Deep scratch on inside of door. I’m no expert and my technique leaves a lot to be desired but we are pretty pleased with the results. Of course we then did every small imperfection on the car, as you do and really pleased especially down the door edges. With the car being black it stood out more. I’ve tried other touch up paints but this is by far the best I’ve had. Great colour match and good quality paint. Don’t hesitate to buy.

Total waste of time and money. Stone chips are MORE noticeable after spending £40 on the kit. Defonely jot one I’d recommend.

This product was recommended to me by a friend as I’d purchased a 3 year old car and whilst it was in very good condition it had a few visible stone chips. Website was very easy to use as I just entered my registration number and it matched my cars paint without question. Product arrived very quickly. A good price (got 10% off as was my first purchase). Easy to follow instructions and the results are amazing. A note of caution: you might need to repeat the paint application a couple of times and make sure the paint is fully dry before using the blending liquid. This is not a criticism of the product but a helpful tip for anyone using it. 5⭐️ from me. I’ve already recommended this product to friends!

Improved the chips and stopped them from being in my face every time I looked at the car

The colour match is perfect
However when removing the excess the blending solution also removes the paint from the very small chips
I have tried this 4 times now using both brushes and finger following all instructions in the kit and on the website

Just want to add customer service is second to none and can not fault them as a company and I will try again in the future.

But all methods have failed and still the chips are like they have never been touched.
