Chrono 24 staff were very helpful and clear in their explanation, my only dissatisfaction is that I bought from Glint, a nice company to deal with, Japanese Yen is the currency they used and since I am in Singapore, the price deplayed on the website is in SGD. However when I decided to buy, the amount to pay was in USD even though I saw that Yen was stated as one of the currencies. I clarified with Chrono 24 staff, who was nice and helpful, was told that only if I lived in Japan, then I pay in Yen. Paying in USD instead of Yen has caused me to pay about 2-3% more. On top of this, because the cost of the watch is now higher, I need to pay more in the goods and services tax for importing this to Singapore! Double whammy!
Yen to USD to Sgd compared to Yen to Sgd directly.

Can C24 look into improving this.

Purchase was pretty straightforward. Though there was a bit of a wait between payment being made and watch shipping out, it still reached me just in time for my anniversary which was amazing! The seller is as reputable as what was listed and communicated effectively.

The exchange rate C24 applied on the watch was artificially inflated resulting in me losing over S$300 on an S$11,000 watch compared to if I had just bought it directly from the seller. C24 did not also disclose up front that they would be applying an inflated exchange rate. I found this out only after ordering the watch and checking Google as an afterthought. Sorry C24, this is unethical. Next time, I will look up a watch on your site but go direct to the seller instead - your Escrow services are only worth it if you disclose transparently and up front how much you will charge for them.
