Do not use.
Appointment booked for 12 noon.
No one shows up. No communication from the company
I contact them.
Almost two hours later I get a notification that they will come at 4pm - 4 hours late.
CLearly this is a very poorly run business which does not understand basic customer care.

Terrible experience. CityCleaners confirmed a gutter cleaning for today, then no-showed without notice—even after I accommodated their request to change the time. I had to rearrange everything and scramble to get my daughter to school. They ignored my calls, WhatsApps, and emails for hours, then finally replied just to say they wouldn’t be coming. Completely unprofessional and clearly not interested in managing (let alone meeting) customer expectations. Don’t waste your time.

Appointment was booked for today 9 am. I had to take time off work to be at home.
By 9.30 am no one had shown up or called to update. I called them just to be told that they couldn’t complete the job today.
Absolutely appalling.

Avoid at all cost they are bunch of criminals. Took my money did a dodgy job insulted me and ran off.

We needed our flat cleaned, ready for a new occupant, thanks to being let down by another company; City Cleaners were able to provide a cleaner with less than twenty four hours notice at a competitive price.
The cleaner was friendly, hard-working and responsive to our requests. She completed the work to a good standard in the time allotted.

If I could give minus I would. Absolutely horrific. They came 2 hours late for a post builders clean. Forgot the window cleaning equipment and so they didn’t clean them. Then they rushed their job as they wanted to finish and when my husband showed them the residual dust ( they never cleaned the skirting/ radiators, the floor was still dusty) they simply said complain to management and you will get a free clean because now it was late and they want to leave! I email management straight away- no response. I then WhatsApp the videos of the residual dirt as well as the video of the team saying complain and get a free clean, send it to management and their response is “ the clean isn’t guarenteed). They refuse to honour the agreement of a free clean if you are not satisfied and the best they can do after multiple unhappy emails is a 20% discount of the next clean. I won’t be using that as why pay again for atrocious work! Avoid avoid avoid. You are better off getting 2 or 3 normal cleaners at a fraction of the cost!

Paid 250 pounds for them to do a builders clean of our house which had been subject to building works. Wanted them to clean the place up from plaster and rubble/grit which was covering the floors and wash doors and windows which had the same debris on them so the place was clean for the continuation of decorating stage of works. We attended the property the next day and was shocked to see it hadn't even looked like it had be cleaned. Our downstairs area which was the worst wasn't even touched. All they had to do upstairs was hoover and there was still grit all over the floors. They cleaned our old front door which is being ripped out. 4 people were there for 3 hours apparently. I have never felt so affronted by someone's lack of honesty and service. We have been well and truly swindled by this 'company'. We have since complained and they have copied a clause saying the person should be there to sign off on the clean. These cleaners knew no one was going to be there when they finished and decided to do nothing. Will be reporting this company to an ombudsman as I can see from the other horrendous reviews that this is not a genuine cleaning business, just a guise to swindle money out of people.

got quote for terrace london 4 bed, with significant rear extension, even gave the dimensions of sliding doors. All good so far!, They said they would come and do it the following day. two guys turned up, annoyingly weren't prepared to do it (quote wrong, ill equipped), moaned, made my partner feel very uncomfortable/vulnerable. I even said (remotely) that they should do just what they can with the budget they have, no joy! sadly you have to pay £50+ these days per hour for window cleaners in london, you get little love for the trouble, and i'll just carry on cleaning them myself. dunc

Dreadful. I asked for a deep clean of my house and they sent 1 person who could not move furniture. The house looked clean on the surface but I had to ask her to go back round the skirting boards with a damp cloth as they were still dusty. I had to move the sofa with her as she said she finished the lounge and hadn’t even moved it.
The bathroom floor was not mopped and dusted around the edges and the plug sockets were still dirty. The front of the sink was clean but not around the sides.
The windows in our bedroom were no damp dusted and again I had to ask her to
Clean again, I didn’t have time to check the rest of the house when she was here but many corners were cut and it was all very much a surface clean- which worked out at £60
PER HOUR!!! Ridiculous and I complained and they send me pictures back they took of the house looking lovely - which like I admit it did on the surface but a deep clean was completely lacking!!! Do not use.

I have been using the company's services for years and I am satisfied with the domestic cleaning. Every month my home is well cleaned by professionals who are also very polite and kind every time. They use only quality cleaning products that are not dangerous to young children and animals and the price-quality ratio is more than great. I recommend them to all my friends and for their other cleaning services.

After I got a dog, keeping my upholstery, carpets or curtains clean is nearly impossible. Fortunately, I knew about this company and decided to give them a try. They cleaned my upholstery to perfection and applied protection all over its surface. It has been two months since the cleaning and my couch still looks clean and fresh. Thank you guys for coming and helping me out with this!

The worst cleaning and customer service even worse. I had Professional Deep Cleaning Services, as well as Professional Carpet Steam Cleaning on 26th April. The property was rented out and the tenant says the cupboards were not cleaned inside and we paid £220. The oven was cleaned for £80. I rang today to say the tenant says the cupboards were not cleaned inside and there is a lot of dirt. I am told it was over a month ago (It is just over three weeks) and they will not do anything. No wonder they have 100% bad reviews. I asked for the name of the person I spoke with and she refused to say I have to send an email. She put the phone down whilst I was speaking.

Really awful service, I wish I had checked reviews before booking. The windows were left worse than before they came to clean them, and they left a trail of dirt inside my house too - despite cleaning external windows. They were poor at communicating, I had to chase them to ask where the cleaner was and it was a guy with a cloth that seemed unprofessional and inexperienced. He left lots of marks and wipe stains all over the windows. I also booked a patio jet wash and despite booking both together, they sent the jet wash later separately (blaming a van breakdown.. which I’ve seen in other reviews so it seems this is an excuse they use a lot). The jet wash sprayed up the patio windows that I had just paid to be cleaned separately, so that was a waste of money. Unacceptable service and not even at a competitive price point - there are many other alternatives out there so I would suggest you steer clear if you don’t want the stress.

Demanded cash in full before starting work. Worked only 3 1/2 hours rather than 5 contracted. Quality bad. Refused to revisit without further payment. Reluctantly replied to my emails telling different and conflicting statements and saying it was our fault. Avoid like the plague

Having arranged for a jet wash at a London flat with City Cleaners, we agreed a price (£45) and the work was scheduled for 11:30am on the 2nd April. Having duly travelled to the residence myself, I arrived at approximately 11:15 and waited until 11:40 and then enquired as to their ETA. I was told to wait for a ring back. When I did manage to finally get an answer (at 12:00), I was told that it would cost £150 and they wouldn't be coming today anyway. Complete waste of time!

Never use these cleaners!! They are scammers. They did a terrible job at an end of tenancy clean and caused lasting damage to the kitchen which led to us receiving deductions on our deposit from our landlord. They were rude and completely unreasonable when challenged on this. It seems like all other reviewers have had a similar experience so please save yourself the trouble and do not use them

I just used this service thinking they were good as they handled the calls and booking very efficiently. The cleaners came early and finished in 1.5 hours even though it was meant to take longer saying they finished it all. When I went back in the evening saw they hadn't done the work fully and not even hoovered the carpet. Called them the next day and they sent me picture to prove it was done and the pictures only show close of areas and I sent back a whole bunch showing it was not done to then be accused of going in afterwards and messing the place up! waste of time and money and to be insulted as well. AVOID this company!

Booked gardners and never showed up. They only told me 3 hours after expected arrival when i emailed and called to ask what was going on. Wish i saw these reviews before

Booked an oven clean. They came and after 45 mins left. After the products wore off I could see the I and microwave were still in a terrible state.

Instrsd of coming to sort it or issuing a refund they blamed the light not working in the oven even though the kitchen was lit up brightly

Ignore any response from these muppets. They exploit their workers and will be reported. Maria is happy to speak and make commitments they can’t deliver on. Booked a cleaner and didn’t turn up on the day. I called only to be told, they” tried to contact me “ about it. What utter rubbish. I’m going to do everything to make sure this company goes under, that’s how bad they are. They exploit their cleaners. They come from Bulgaria and barely speak English. Avoid, avoid, avoid
