Real people who really care!

You guys. The Clark Group is the real estate team you want.

Our experience started with Alex Clark. I really liked his willingness to make himself available any time I was ready to move forward to look at houses. When we did meet up I realized I made the right choice immediately. This man is so kind and so smart and so responsive! He met with my husband and I at a coffee shop ahead of a viewing and we got to ask him a million questions about why him and why do we want a buyer’s agent. He is amazing. That could be the end of the rating but let me continue. He was very professional but so down to earth. This was our guy! And I should mention at this point that my husband and I have individually or together bought and sold property in Oregon, Florida, Utah, Minnesota and Washington. Alex was the most personable and “real” of all of the agents we’ve worked with.

We toured some new construction together and I appreciated how Alex was there for us and also let us lead the process. It’s important to me to be treated like someone who “has done this before” but also answer questions that are as if I’d never even heard of buying a house before. Alex was kind and patient and professional. He told me that he and his team would be able to figure out the market price for what we may want to put an offer on and he and his team would be able to help up with negotiations, follow ups and final steps. He delivered! It’s the walking you through things that a buyers agent really helps with. The Clark Group Is who you want in your team for buying.

When we found a couple other places we wanted to see he set us up with Nick Lewis. Nick is also a superstar guy - professional, has a personality, got my jokes, made me feel important by responding very timely, he was enthusiastic, he has connections in the real estate world, is from and loves the area, he’s open to conversation and also knows when we just wanted to tour in silence, and he was overall very kind. And did I mention patient?

We contacted Nick by email, phone, and text at all hours of the day (and I literally mean all hours) with no expectation of immediate responses but he got back to us asap as soon as he was “online”. My husband and I are night owls and he let us text in the middle of the night and per our requests he didn’t call at 8am - he texted or emailed as we preferred. I looooooove not answering the phone and really, strongly dislike people who don’t listen when I tell them that.

Nick was willing and able to treat us like the experienced people we are, but also answer our newbie type questions. He understood when I told him our old eyes couldn’t read the tiny Docusign forms and arranged for us to get pdfs so we could zoom in: He explained the forms as they came in simple terms to make sure we were comfortable: Most important he was honest and reliable and real.

Today I picked up the house key to our new townhouse from Nick He waved at me as I pulled up and congratulated me and shook my hand. We discovered that we still needed some things from the seller and I made a joke saying something like “sorry you have to keep seeing us” and although I don’t remember the exact sweet thing he said in response … it comes down to the old adage that *you may not specifically remember what people say or do but you remember how they make you feel*. The sale was done and Nick still made me feel glad he was on our side.

And that sums up our whole experience with Nick, with Alex Clark, and with the Clark Group team … we felt important and valued and like we could ask anything at any time.

In fact, Nick already gave us some connections for other services we may need and told us we could contact him in the future if we need more recommendations or referrals. And I believe him. I know he and Alex will be there when we need them again for another purchase or a sale or for a referral: they are good people and you will be glad you met them.
