Not just bad - VERY BAD!
I have ordered a pair of scissors for hairdressing with the next day delivery. After 3 days I emailed the support who did not repond for days. I had to send another email and another to which they finally responded and said they could offer me a refund. I accepted this solution. However, a week later I see no money in my account and there has been no email confirmation. They do not answer my follow-up emails and act very dodgy in general. The online chat seems to be a fob-off. After I input my problem, nothing followed and I had to make do with talking to myself.
I would not trust them and avoid shopping there to save yourself from dissatisfaction and disappointment.
We bought the baby dan cot from this company and it broke on our first use. We have borrowed the exact same cot from my sister with no problems so we knew how it worked. We tried to contact the company by phone and email a number of times over the next month and we were ignored. Their customer service is appalling, don’t bother buying from them, they will take you money, sell you dud products and then run a mile.
Found out that Finnish Clas Ohlson charging me more than double price (49:95 vs 19:95) for Remington hair curler CI5318 compared to all their competitors. That's not a normal "price difference". It is a ripoff. Say they can't give any discount and they know I don't have time to return it.
I will not deal with this company again, I ordered a DVD disc and I checked my nearest store for collection, it came up with Reading well it would because I think they only have the 1 store, I was about to cancel my order when I noted a FREE delivery with code Free5 I also noted that there were no * or T&Cs apply so I entered the code, I placed the order and noted that it gave my correct delivery address, a day later I got an e-mail saying my order was ready to collect from Reading, I contacted Clas Ohlson and pointed out I ordered using FREE5, they replied that on the home page it states minimum spend £5.00 and the offer has expired so if I want it I would have to pay £4.99 for delivery this is despite it did not say minimum spend on the order page and it accepted the code and took me to my address page followed by the pay now page.
Cancelled my order after 5 minutes because the discount that was put in during the beginning of the purchase suddenly wasn't there. Cancelled my order via the customer chat and got my cancellation confirmed and was told I'd be credited within a few days.
Apparently, according to Clas Ohlson they packaged and shipped the order within those five minutes and that's why I had to wait for over 19 days to get my money back. It's clear that the first customer service representative lied to me and failed to cancel my order and yet Clas Olson claims no responsibility.
The online ordering service is dysfunctional.When I called they told me that the order has been shipped, but the website says it's still being picked. Also, my order took more than 3 days before it was shipped, but their website says it is usually shipped within one day. Very disappointed
When I bought a Toaster from Clas Olsen I got the impression they were a decent company and unfortunately did not check any reviews. Big mistake. The toaster stopped working so I rang customer services. The recorded message said I was 5th in the queue and after 30 seconds or so I was given the option to leave my number for a call back. Second mistake-no call back came. Tried twice more but each time declined their offer of a call back and hung on. I assume my calls were dumped into a black hole as they just lasted until the lines were closed at 6.00 pm. I shall not give up but I advise everyone to steer clear of them.
Amazing service, durable products. Went to the Tampere shop with a picture of my IKEA lamp and they looked up the manual online and told me how to install it.
I hate their cashless system plus new system and new people working at Nordstan in Gothenburg are caotical, they know nothing plus they are quite rude, I use to spend several 1000s SEK per year but I ill have to move myself away from them...

Not yet bought the product - I am trying to ascertain how the sizing of their children's clothes works - what does size 86/92 mean? Two phone calls (over five minutes) and told in the first call to look on the website and secondly that they don't know. Live chat and then told they can't tell me and I need to e-mail in.
This is ridiculous and frankly demonstrates zero customer service! All I want to know is what size to buy!!!!
Clas Ohlson maybe you need to explain to your staff that if you trade in the UK you should be able to confirm the UK sizes of your products. I was told in the first call this is a common question so why can't you answer it????
UPDATED - response received following e-mail complaint confirming the sizing however it is a shame it took so long for a simple answer!
I've shopped at Clas Ohlson for a number of years, both online and in store. Without fail, i've found the products they sell to be of a high quality (backed by a two-year guarantee for good measure) and great value for money. Where, very occasionally, something has gone wrong, i've found their customer service to be peerless, they are absolutely committed to putting things right. It is a pleasure to shop with them!
I see there are quite a few negative reviews for this company, but in my limited experience I have been pleasantly surprised particularly with the customer support. I bought a stand up Bluetooth speaker, which unfortunately was malfunctioning. I contacted customer services over Christmas and got a reply within 48 hours. I spoke to an advisor called Molly who was excellent, very helpful and polite. the defective item was collected and a replacement sent with no hassle or charge. I was and am very happy with the service.
I ordererd 8 expensive oak shelves, but only 3 were delivered (well packed), but all 8 were charged for. When I queried this, I was told by email that the shelves were out of stock, but they were trying to source them from their stores, and they would be delivered in 2-3 days. Nothing was delivered, so I tried to contact them. Firstly I replied to the email - no reply. Then I phoned, and because the queue was huge I ask for a ringback - no-one phoned me. I did this 3 times - same outcome. Then I let the phone ring and I was in position 15. No-one answered and after 1 hour the phone cut off. Finally I tried Chat. This was open, and I started at position 7, but after 30 mins I was at position 9! clas ohlson's Customer Services is a disgrace - the worst I have ever encountered. Are they a real company, or do they make their money by failing to deliver and hope that customers will give up?
Unlike many other reviews, my experience has been positive. I was initially sent the wrong item. I called and used their ring back service. They called me back promptly, and agreed to send the replacement item.
I've also used the chat service and found that to be good too.
In my opinion, customer service has been good, and I would purchase again.
Earlier this year I purchased a drill online for approx £100. When it came to recharge , it wouldn't. I contacted the company & had a protracted e-mail conversation with a woman who signed herself " UK customer service champion" hah!
She finally agreed to replace the drill & post me a label for me to return the defective drill to them. I am still waiting!
I have sent e-mails to: Customer services, Claus Olsen London HQ & finally a named person @ their Swedish HQ. Not 1 of them has bothered to reply.
I am out of pocket to the tune of £100 & all my precious time.

I decided to use Clas Ohlson on 7th August as they offered next day delivery for which I paid £9.99. The order did not arrive the next day. I then received an email from them on 11th August to say that my order had been dispatched. It is now midday on 13th August and I still have`nt received my order. I have tried to contact them by phone only to be told that there is no-one there in Customer Services to answer the phone. I also tried their online chat again to be told that there is no-one there to speak to me. Very very poor service. I will never order from this company again.

I was so happy about discovering this site, good prices and some stylish things.
Placed an order on 27.08.2018 and all good, I was able to log in to check the details, the tracking number everything.
Then placed another one, with the same username, email, payment method, everything, only 4 days later and all good.
However 2 days after placing the second order I wanted to check tracking information and everything (same as I did for order 1) and I couldn't enter my account.
Took 2 chats with customer services, and several emails, to just being told that my account was anonymised because I did not click on settings on the consent. NO WARNINGS NO DISCLAIMER NOTHING about it, you just simply can't log in anymore and your account is deleted (which it is not compliant with GDPR as I was not given the option to consent, not proper information).

Absolutely rubbish. Paid £4.99 for something to be delivered. Ordered on Sunday estimate delivery Tuesday. Thursday still nothing so I called them, promised next day before 9am by special delivery- today is Saturday, had an email to say my order was cancelled due to a system error? Due to lack of stock.... checked again on line and says product is in stock. Still no refund either .... not sure what happens next ? I will never order from them again!!! Rubbish customer service
Ordered 3 items in their 25% off Anniversary Sale. They all arrived today and I am extremely happy with all of them. The quality is fantastic. The two black garden chairs are very well made, superior quality to others I have seen. The duster wand, again, exceptional quality and the little nail scissors, precision instruments. It was great getting them discounted but I will order a couple more of the chairs at full price. Free delivery too as I spent over £35 and the chairs were heavy, so this was a great bonus.
