I ordered (and paid for) two of a clearance item. Only one was in the delivery. The item also disappeared from the website, so I guess they didn't have a second one. Fair enough, but my request for a partial refund was just ignored. Not good enough.

Awful communication - what I mean is they never answered an email or a ‘contact us’ message I left on their website. I know the goods were supposed to be close to sell by or just over sell by date, but some were nearly a year over date, broken and in very poor condition. Everything actually went in the bin. Order received after 2 months from placement of order and will never order from these again. Even tried contacting them to explain the issues and still no response. Awful customer service and awful goods.

Order placed in March and received it in May. Emailed repeatedly to ask for an update, but no response. A number of items arrived opened so weren't edible.

I got exactly what I ordered - I was informed early that the delivery could be 31 days, which I worked out to be approximately 6 weeks, and the parcel came almost perfectly on time. Contents were exactly as I ordered. I think some of these reviews are people being impatient, and I felt I had to leave a review because Clearance XL did exactly what they were required and it's only fair they get an accurate review for this :) I will be ordering again!

I bought my cost of living food box with the wowcher discount code. Box arrived today, lots and lots of stuff, very happy with products, worth more than what was spent even with the additional £7.99 I spent for fast delivery.
Did take a long time to arrive but I got an apology on my invoice. I appreciate that they are busy and maybe next time wing pay extra for delivery. Will definitely buy again just be aware there is a bit of a wait.
Overall everything is as expected.

Ordered a mystery book box using Wowcher code and it's now been a month with no delivery, no updates and no response to emails. Very disappointed.

Its been over 2 months order on just been completed but still not been sent out . No communication what so ever avoid at all cost

Order was straightforward, unfortunately the quality was appalling and to their credit refunded my money.

Rubbish.
Just a box full of junk.

I have been waiting for 6 weeks, I have sent a message to ask when it will be sent, but have not had any reply, can you please tell me when this will arrive... Thank you

I placed an order on 19th March and it never arrived. I emailed through the website and directly and received no response, no goods and no refund. Luckily I had paid with Barclays connect, initiated their chargeback process and was refunded within 2 minutes. The fact is was so quick suggests that they have them on some sort of blacklist. Please don't part with your money

Ive waited over 6 weeks and still haven't received my box. Ive emailed them and left a note on there chat bot. And NOTHING!

Knew there were going to be some expired items say by a few months or a year but majority of them were expired BY 3-4 YEARS

I ordered a grocery box and a few bits and pieces on the 22nd Feb I've received nothing I've repeatedly sent mails zero replys I have never heard of it before zero communication I'm so bloody annoyed

Whilst waiting for two months, there was no communication from the company until I got a text from DHL saying a parcel is arriving on the same day. I didn't expect the items to be so old; nearly all the items were from 2025 and 2024, even a few items were from 2023: I threw all of it away. RRP is £40 but I got it for £18 using Wowcher voucher, and £5 for delivery.

The concept may be well thought out however in practice, it took 3 months for my order to arrive.
I received no response to my communications or requests for updates. Neither, was I advised of the long lead times when making my purchase.
I only received my items, after I requested a refund since it had been 3 months. That email/ contact was also ignored, but magically the order was shipped.

Once I received my order (box of books x2) the quality was varied. Some seemed used & stained, most were notably very very old, and 90% I did not know or recognise the author, or title. And all but one or two seemed to be from America / Canada.
Overall, it worked out very expensive and very disappointing. I had really high hopes for the purchase. I didn’t expect brand new books, however I expected recognisable books for the past 5/6 years. None of what I received fit that.

Books are all damaged and though I have complained I have had no response

£3 Clearance XL voucher + £13.99 order, No confirmation but payment taken, month or so later STILL no order, 3 emails but NO response, No refund, No product. Avoid at all costs 🚫🚫🚫

Ordered a mystery book box, was supposed to be delivered in 7-30 days. It's now been 42, and still not arrived.

I have messaged their online chat service and emailed the company, and they have not replied at all.

Ordered in february. Still not recieved anything. I have contacted the company many times but i get no answer. I have asked for a refund but again no answer to that either
