We back today asked a few more questions and complete our purchase, took the Rollator home with us & looking forward to getting our chair in 6 to 8 weeks time. Thank you Jo for all your help.

Good range of items and excellent service!
I visited this company in Portslade to try out folding scooters. Two very engaging and helpful young ladies there who appeared to be inexperienced in the business, but more than made up for that by their very willing and helpful attitude. Thanks girls! I was very happy with my experience. Good range of machines and other mobility items. Highly recommended.
Excellent customer service
Can’t fault the service and attention from Trish in the Woking branch. Made what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into an enjoyable event.
A really good shopping experience
My husband and I visited the Woking shop last week and found it very calm and friendly. We ordered a few items, we had a phone call to tell us the items were now in the shop just a few days later. We went to collect the items and we asked about their comfortable arm chairs and were given a really good demo of them. When we had finished we collected and paid for our ordered items. Nothing was too much trouble for either of the staff. So good in these times where customers are made to feel as though they are interfering with staff chatting to each other in a shop. Really good experience and thank you.

I've had a kmofy 8 from this shop since February it's done nothing but go wrong ,I've spent all weekend in cause I'm not sure if it will get me from a to be, getting a better one from a different company thank god!
A good shopping experience
The staff (Jenna and Ali) were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were well informed about the goods we were purchasing. We shopped at the Crawley branch.
Excellent service
My wife and I took my elderly parents to the Chichester branch in order to look at chairs and mobility scooters for my father. We were served mainly by Carole.
This proved to be an excellent experience. Carole was very patient, spoke very clearly so that my father (who has hearing difficulties) could understand her, made no attempt to rush him, and made no attempt to hard sell - indeed, on at least one occasion she advised against a more expensive option.
Carole encouraged him to spend as much time as he needed trying out the scooter on various terrains in the car park and on the pavements near the shop. She also encouraged him to try different chairs to find one that suited him.
My father ordered a chair straight away, but was not yet sure about the scooter, so Carole encouraged him to spend a few days thinking about it before making a decision.
Very positive experience
We needed to source a chair quickly for my father-in-law. Clearwell were very helpful from start to finish. They arranged a home visit very quickly and he had the right chair for him within 48 hours. The team were very friendly and I would thoroughly recommend them.
Amazing customer experience
Amazing customer experience, can't fault clearwell at all, had my first motability scooter through them and was so impressed I've just ordered my second. Very friendly and knowledgable staff made the whole experience a pleasure.
“Received helpful advice in store
“Received helpful advice in store. Chair was delivered quickly. Extremely pleased with service.
Highly NOT recommended
I ordered a riser-recliner chair for my mother from this company. We were told that the delivery time would be in three months, but decided to wait, as my mother really wanted (and needed) the chair. After 3 months Clearwell contacted us, saying that the chair was ready, but had been made in the wrong colour. So we had a number of options, given to us as a "take it or leave it": accept the wrong colour chair - although they would give us a risible £50 discount, take a refund - which would mean another 3 month wait for a chair, or wait another 3 months for another chair. I suggested lending my mother a chair from one of the shops until the new chair was ready: this was deemed inappropriate, since this would apparently make the chair unusable due to covid. Although the service staff in the store were extremely apologetic and as helpful as possible, the director of the company was rude, abrasive and exceptionally unhelpful; he clearly had no idea about customer satisfaction or why my mother wanted the correct colour after a 3-month wait. I seriously do not recommend having anything to do with this company, just in case things go wrong - the director will not help.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I've read the reply from Clearwell. It's disappointing that a company has to bend the truth to try and defend itself. Let's clarify the issue here:
1) I suggested that my mother be supplied with a used chair in the interim period while the correct colour chair was manufactured. This suggestion was so that my mother, who was in dire need of a chair to help her stand up after sitting down. I never demanded a new chair and was more than happy for my mother to use an old one until the correct chair could be made.
2) To offer a £50 refund on a £1200 chair was rather disappointing when my mother had been let down so badly. I thought that a more significant amount should have been offered due to the considerable inconvenience.
3) I was never aggressive to either the sales assistants (who bent over backwards to help and were exceptionally apologetic) nor to the "Director" I talked to on the phone. This director frequently interrupted me as I was talking and as very disrespectful. I previously mentioned this man's name in my review, but Clearwell Mobility asked me to remove his name. The sales assistants were great throughout the interaction; I thanked them profusely for the help they had tried to give and they certainly were not upset by my behaviour - but were by the managing director's.
4) To suggest that a mobility aid be delivered to a senior citizen after a 6-month wait (3 months initial wait then 3 months to make the correct colour chair) is very unreasonable. That's why I suggested that my mother be lent a used chair (possibly one of those being used in one of the stores up and down the country) seemed like a good alternative: it would not cost the company anything as they already had used chairs in their stores, and my mother would get the required assistance in and out of a chair.
5) The conversation with the "Director" took place following my request to talk to him. These assistants had called him to discuss my suggestion of lending my mother a used chair (a suggestion they thought was a good idea) but they were getting nowhere with him. At no time was the showroom manager reduced to tears (this is a total fabrication by Clearwell) and they were not abused at any time.
It seems bizarre that a company set up to help those with mobility problems cannot see the problem. Or at least the "Director" couldn't. Given the lack of assistance and the rude behaviour of the managing director I feel the review is completely justified. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

Fantastic and caring people.
I had to write a review I've always used a basic chair and now i have poweredchair. It came 3 weeks early. I was very anxious to start with but i was made to feel comfortable and helped so much by sally and Howard they went above and beyond with communication and helping me with my chair. Howard is brilliant he helped a lot and had a lot of patience with me. I will get the hang of my new chair with practise. I'm so happy to have some freedom and independence and to be given such a great experience has helped so much.

Thanks for your help
I have visited the Staines branch twice since lockdown with my elderly in laws. The 2 female staff have been friendly and helpful on both occasions, and happily shared a joke with my father in law. They are knowledgable about all the products they sell. The covid 19 precautions are well organised and we felt safe visiting the store.

Yesterday I was in desperate need of a rise and recliner chair for my partner, after speaking to Sally one was despatched. A few hours later Howard arrived with the perfect chair. Both Sally and Howard have gone above and beyond any help I was expecting. They are compassionate and kind and a credit to Clearwell Mobility. Thank you both very much
