I got an excellent price on the latest Wahoo Kickr and it shipped quickly.
Initially I was concerned because I hadn’t received notification that my order had shipped. But when I contacted customer support, I promptly received information about the order. My experience with Clever Training was great!

Also had a very disappointing experience with this company. The pricing on certain products was appealing but I regret giving them a try despite the other poor reviews.
I made an order for an expedited delivery (1 -2 days) and waited a few days by which time it should have definitely arrived. As I'd heard nothing I tried getting in touch on email first and again heard nothing back. Finally I called to follow up and was told the product wasn't even in stock and they had no real idea when it would be.

I live very close to the company in Chorley. Called and asked if I could collect rather than have a set of Favero Assioma pedals delivered. This way, I thought I could avoid the not in stock issue raised by so many. Not the case, I’m afraid. Paid and then called to see if I could collect. I was informed that they hadn’t been processed, which was fair as I called the same day. Received an email the following day to say they were not in stock, 7-10days wait.
I demanded a refund, which to be fair was done in two days.
Emails were prompt, but it really isn’t worth the hassle for the 10% off from DC Rainmaker. Really surprised he’s even associated with them since he’s in the ‘review’ business. How can a company have over 48% poor on Trustpilot and still be in business?????
Avoid or Risk a disappointment (and maybe a bit of an insult)!
As Xmas approaches, some of you may look into buying presents for your loved ones or yourself on Clever Training UK website. Please don't otherwise you could be severely disappointed.
Tried to buy Garmin 6 pro Sapphire with 10% discount from DC Rainmaker.
1. First transaction. They charged money and sent email that order went through. Luckily enough I decided to check account I created with them. On the account it said that order was DECLINED by RISK department (?!?!). I sent email requesting explanation of the situation. In return they ask me to provide "prove" that I paid. Screenshots were sufficient so I sent them. Instead of processing order they promise me to return money in 3 to 5 days. It took 4 or 5 phone calls in spaces of 2 weeks to actually get my money back.
Moral: If you decide to risk it and place order with them, check your account after payment. Refund could take longer then promised and if it expensive, you could be without option to buy another item and will have to wait for refund.
P.S. No explanation was giving about "decline" apart of general "Suspected Fraud" - a bit of an insult to your injury.
2. I convinced my friend to help me, created new account, so there is will be no cross reference with previuos attempt. New "everything" card/address/ etc. Placed order and it went through just fine. Learnt from before, went straight to website to check status, all good: "Pending Shipment". 3-4 days later no change. So another phone call to them, well apparently it's on a back order. It's NOT in stock! Nowhere on the website it said it Out of stock! Few days later money was refunded to my friend bank account automatically terminating this order as well, although I didn't ask for it. I was ready to wait for another couple of days.
Moral: If you risk it and place order, it is NOT guaranteed, that item is in stock! Unless you call them directly and check. Meaning you can be sitting and waiting for your Xmas gift never to arrive.
P.S. "Out of stock" could actually explain problem with first transaction, I think....
I ordered On Cloud Running Shoes…
I ordered On Cloud Running Shoes through Google Shopping, and Clever Training was the merchant.
I knew when I first saw the shoe box, which was slightly damaged and looked "worn," that something was weird. When I opened the shoe box, there was no plastic wrapping or paper stuffed inside the shoe, like you expect when you buy brand new shoes. I turned the shoes over, and it was obvious they were worn before. I also pulled out two fine hairs from inside the shoe, like a cat or dog hair.
I came to the conclusion that they must have sent me someone else's return. And to think someone packing the box from Clever Training thought that would be okay.
Thank goodness I purchased through Google Shopping and is assisting me with the return.

Positive, and here's why:
Having seen the reviews on here, I was hesitant to purchase through Clever Training. I wanted one of the Fenix 6 watches which was Out of Stock. A quick email to CleverTraining UK confirmed these had just arrived in stock and the website was being updated imminently.
I therefore purchased the watch (with the DC Rainmaker discount) and it was dispatched and delivered exactly as predicted. I got the confirmation email and I got the Royal Mail tracking code (give it a day or so for the code to get into their tracking system).
I understand the frustrations of customers below. The bike brand Canyon went through a similar phase of supply chain issues in their earlier days. Simple supply and demand - people want a high-quality product at a cut-down price when no-one else is doing discounts yet. The supplier is bound to be swamped, which could explain the lack of communication or unknown re-stock times.
There is nothing dishonest about this trader as I have received my watch, on time and as described. If you're concerned, drop them an email and ask before buying (and you then have a paper trail if for whatever reason you need it!). Simples :)

Made my order for Fenix 6 smartwatch 14th of september. Next day and it was already shipped. I received my package within few days, all in perfect condition. Pricing was very competitive. Very nice, will buy again.

Same problem as others have already stated.
I've paid 1k EUR for a watch, it stated shipment in 5-7 days.
Contacted them after 8 days and they told me it's not in stock and they don't know when it will be in stock again.

Do not accept my money when you can not diliver or be clear what you promise.

Phantom Watch
I just wanted to add to the voices on here regarding the selling of an item that wasn't even in stock.
I ordered a Garmin Forerunner 945 last week. It said that I would be made aware of shipment on despatch, and having not received any confirmation a few business days later, I decided to follow up.
I received an email telling me that the item was currently not in stock, and they had *no idea when it would arrive*. Interestingly enough however, my bank account had already been billed for 467.99.
So basically they took my money for something they don't even have (most companies process payment on/after despatch in my experience).
Not only was there no info on the website saying 'not in stock', or 'pre-order/due soon' –– but it even informed me that if I ordered before 1pm it would be sent on the same day.
Also, I wonder whether they even would have told me any of this had I not chased it up?
It may well be that the issue is resolved satisfactorily in the end, and I'll give them a fair chance to do that. But generally: it's just a pretty shoddy way to treat customers, and certainly not a recipe for repeat business.
*UPDATE*
my watch arrived, without any further correspondence, about a week after writing this review (at which point i had already been waiting almost 3 weeks).
i have changed the review from 1 to 2 stars to reflect this.

Website and confirmation Email stated my item was in stock. After reading these reviews I checked. Not in stock and had never been! No idea when it would be in stock and no follow up to correct misleading website or email. Third party contracted out customer services used by Clever Training said they had complained to them previously about this problem. Just dishonest.
VERY disappointed with the company
VERY disappointed with the company. I ordered a pair of shoes around July 4th, which were canceled and I had to request a refund on. I then again, ordered another pair of shoes on the 11th of July., and today July 23rd, after calling customer service i was told that they had over sold the shoes and I would be receiving a refund. (again, ONLY after calling them to track the order.) it seems like a bait and switch scheme. They will happily take you money but you have request it back. That is a great zero interest loan. I would avoid this company until they figure out their inventory system

Do not buy here (I should mention I only have experience with the UK branch). I placed an order for a Garmin smart watch, but their system kept declining me and automatically cancelling orders. But in doing so, the amount for the watch was reserved on my credit card for all three attempts. Finally I decided to quit trying and bought the watch at a better online store, but the company held the amounts (around 1000 euro) hostage on my credit card. I mailed them. They cleared two out of three reservations. I mailed them again, got a lousy reply that it would be forwarded. It has been almost a month now. Stay away from this company.
Awful Company
Ordered the Garmin 945 weeks ago. They charged my card immediately and after calling today (after they never replied to emails) I have been informed it is not in stock and will not be for another few weeks.
No online shop should charge a customer until the item is shipped. That is unacceptable. They have provided no updates since the initial order was made so I continue to be in the dark about it all.
Avoid this company.
