I had a great experience with Clinicana from start to finish. Everything was extremely well organised, including all airport and hotel transfers, which made the whole process completely stress-free.

The Naz Hotel was comfortable and in a great location, and I found the Turkish people to be incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

A special thank you to my coordinator, Ecem. From our very first contact on WhatsApp, through the planning and organisation, right through to my consultation, surgery, and completion of the process, she was outstanding. Her English was perfect, she was always friendly and professional, and she made me feel comfortable and well looked after every step of the way.

The procedure itself took around 8 hours. (4600 grafts).
I'll be honest—it isn't painless. The local anaesthetic is probably around a 6/10 for discomfort, and lying in the same position for several hours can be uncomfortable too. That's simply the reality of having a hair transplant.

Overall, the service was excellent. Today is day one of my recovery, and I'm feeling optimistic and excited to see my results. I'd happily recommend Clinicana to anyone considering a hair transplant

I had my hair transplant at Clinicana in Turkey on October 8, 2025, and looking back 9 months later, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

From the moment I arrived in Istanbul, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up at the airport by the clinic's driver and stayed for two nights at the hotel included in the package. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I never had to worry about anything.

The procedure itself went very well, and I flew home to Norway the following day. I carefully followed all the medication and aftercare instructions, and my recovery went exactly as expected.

Today, 9 months later, I am extremely happy with the results. My hair looks natural, and the density is much better than I expected. I regularly receive compliments from my colleagues, family, and friends, and many people can't believe I've had a hair transplant because the result looks so natural. It has really boosted my confidence.

I come from France and i've been amazed by the results and the professionalism of the doctors nurses and Baki the french intermediate. I chose this Clinic at the beginning because it was in an private modern hospital and not in a simple clinic so if something happenned to me, there are all the specialities ready to take care of me. They ask you only the screenshot of your flight to book the appointment and the price of the operation is in a package. The price doesn't depend of how many graft you need. For me I had 4000 graft for 2500euros and to be honest it is really competitive if you compare to others. The advantage of this hospital is that the quality of the final result is natural and the sanitary conditions are strictly respected. The french intermediate Baki knows very well his work and follows the evolution until the final result. I had 3 doctors who controled the process during the operation and 3 experimented nurses who made the intervention. It was very comfortable and not painful even after the operation. I had absolutely no complication.
Baki explains you how to take the 5 days treatment after the operation that even if it is a bit complicated to remember, he explains it to you in a whatsapp vocal after the operation and gives you the printed list with all the instructions so you don't make mistakes.
Everything is clear and Baki answered everytime I had questions or doubts until the final result! He never lets you alone if you have doubts with something, he is really reassuring.
I've been to my doctor in France after my operation and he confirmed that everything was well done and noticed the high quality of the operation.

Driver picks u up at airport. Brings to the hospital for blood sample, then to the hotel. Hotel was better than expected. I was positively surprised.
The next day, I came in around 9am. Pre operation consultation, defined priorities of expectations.
Then down to the operation room, professional approach, many personnel servicing you. The whole procedure is painless, only the anesthesia part, when they had to inject liquid in your scalp. It took around 6 hours, feels long, but considering amount of work done, I can say it was very efficient. My case had 4300 grafts implanted. Then the let back to the hotel for a rest. You would feel exhausted, eat healthy food, drink a lot of water and you will be fine. I didnt experience any pain, only discomfort because of bandages around the head.
The next morning, you come to remove bandages and wash the head for first time. Easy and quick.
I can‘t wait to see my result in 6-9 months.
If you hesitate, don‘t, you will be happy you decided to make this step.

3-Month Update

My original hair has started growing back, and I recently had my first haircut since the procedure. The barber mainly trimmed the sides because the hair on the top and crown is still quite thin. In fact, at this stage it actually feels a little thinner than it did before the transplant, which I understand is a normal part of the recovery process.

Before the haircut, I let my barber know about the transplant so he wouldn’t cut the donor area too short while it continued to heal.

A tip for anyone considering a hair transplant: keep the hair on the sides slightly longer during the first few months. The donor area naturally has less hair than before, and this was something Dr. Eyad discussed with me prior to the procedure.

After submitting my three-month progress photos to Clinicana, I received feedback the very next day. Dr. Eyad reviewed the photos and confirmed that everything was healing well. He explained that the transplanted follicles typically begin producing noticeable growth between the fourth and sixth months. This matches what I’ve read and seen from many other hair transplant patients, so I’m looking forward to seeing more progress over the coming weeks.

6-Month Update

After sending another set of progress photos to Dr. Eyad, he replied that my donor area has healed very well and that the transplanted hair is developing as expected.

Personally, the improvement has been gradual, so it has been difficult for me to notice significant changes from day to day. However, hair transplants require patience, and I’m trusting the process. Based on Dr. Eyad’s assessment, everything appears to be on track, and I’m looking forward to seeing additional growth and density over the next three to six months.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Clinicana. The communication before the procedure was excellent, but after the treatment the level of care dropped significantly. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and getting support or clear answers became difficult. For such an important procedure, I expected much better aftercare and transparency. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Update – 10 Months Later with Clinicana Hair Clinic

It’s now been 10 months since my surgery on August 19, and I wanted to share an honest update, especially for anyone currently in the anxious “is this normal?” phase.

Around month 2-3, I went through the shedding phase. I won’t lie — there were a few moments where I genuinely panicked, looking in the mirror and wondering if something had gone wrong. If you’re reading this in that exact phase right now: it’s normal, and it passes.

After that scare, the hair came back steadily, and it kept getting denser every month since. At 10 months, the result already looks completely natural — strangers can’t tell, and when I do mention it, people are genuinely surprised. I know from research that full maturity usually takes up to 12-18 months, so I expect it to still improve a bit further, but I’m already extremely happy with where it’s at.

Looking back at the whole journey — the shedding, the panic, the regrowth — I’m even more confident now than I was right after the surgery that Clinicana was the right choice. If you’re in the shedding phase right now and scared, just hold on — it gets better.

So far so good. Front area there is good hair growth and there is some growth at crown as well. Crown area hair growth is slow (as i was told) so i am waiting patiently and will update my review at full 12 months. Right now, it's half time (6 months). Ecem is really great at answering all the queries and following up with me. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Upon arriving in Istanbul, I was first taken for blood tests before being transferred to the hotel. The entire process was well organized, although there was a small delay with the airport pickup. The hotel was comfortable, and all transfers between the airport, hotel, and hospital were included, making the whole experience very convenient.

The next day, I met Dr. Attar at Acıbadem Taksim Hospital. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to discuss my expectations. Together, we agreed on a natural-looking hairline, and he listened carefully to my preferences. Around 4,200 grafts were transplanted. The anesthesia was definitely the most uncomfortable part of the procedure, but the medical team was supportive throughout, and the rest of the operation went smoothly.

The following day, I returned for my first wash and final check-up. Dr. Attar examined the transplant, reassured me that everything looked good, and gave me confidence about the expected results.

The recovery process requires patience. The first 10 days are the most important and challenging, as you need to avoid touching or putting pressure on the newly implanted grafts. After that comes the removal of the scabs, which is very satisfying because you can finally see your new hairline taking shape. Then comes the shedding phase (shock loss), which can last around 2-3 months and is completely normal. Gradually, new hair starts to grow, become more uniform, and gain density over time.

Overall, I had a very positive experience. The staff were professional, communication was excellent, and I felt supported from start to finish.
