Mistreats Professionals

As a CNA, I used this platform for shifts. The first one I booked, I was answering call lights left and right while the other CNA’s were nowhere in sight. I worked so hard just for the facility to block me after my shift. Clipboard does not reach out and ask about things before allowing a facility to do that. In addition, facility staff can gossip and make false reports without providing concrete video or other evidence supporting claims against you and Clipboard will listen to the without contacting you. I also had a facility that I never even went to before block me when I booked a shift. How does that even happen? I recently was deactivated without a reason given and when an appeal was submitted I received an email saying after a “thorough review” of my account my deactivation would be upheld. Again I was not contacted to get my side which means a “thorough” review was NOT completed. I was also not given an actual reason. Just general information. They treat professionals like dog sh**. I hope that one day they will dissolve as a company because they do not deserve us. And without us they wouldn’t be making money with the clients the way they are as they couldn’t provide the clients service.

Scam

Scam. Read the reviews in Glassdoor, Reddit, here before doing their case studies – it's a scam. Don't waste your time and definitely don't do any free work. This is what I should have done as well. I made the mistake of only reading the reviews afterwards.

I just had a horrible recruitment…

I just had a horrible recruitment experience with Clipboard. They made me spend precious hours on a full-on project that they call "case study" before they even did any interviews and verified some high level fit. It's like they send these project works to anyone and everyone with little regard to people's time. They prey on candidates and take advantage of their time and energy. That's a vey bad look for a company of this size.

Clipboard Healthcare does NOT CARE about contractors

This company has unfairly restricted my account from picking shifts because they have a method that does not wait to verify every detail before taking action and go off limited facts. What is even appealing is that they will not move an inch to contact facilities to clarify and advocate for the people.out on the roads facing challenges and making money for them. They eventually re-instated my account without an apology for limiting me for two days or more as if it was business as usual. Now, despite driving in blizzard weather for an hour or more where visibility was sometimes impossible, despite contacting facility to let them know the situation and despite expressing the willingness to still get there late and facility telling me it was ok they had a replacement, and despite calling Clipboard at once, my account was still restricted! If you can, avoid this app like a plague! Management does not give a damn about its contractors!

I had been a consistent worker for…

I had been a consistent worker for Clipboard until facilities started canceling back to back the same week! I then came down with the FLU and canceled a shift. That led to an account restriction which I called and got removed! But they actually didn’t take it off! Fast forward to an accident on the interstate which had the interstate shut down for hours! I canceled the shift after sitting stopped on the highway for two hours and the shift start time coming and going! They restricted my account again! Clipboard sent a letter saying how cancellation’s are hard for facilities, but what about how hard it is on contractors when different facilities repeatedly cancel? I can’t pay rent bc of their practices and have missed my car payment! Do yourself a favor… it may look sweet at first but they will rnd up screwing you over! Just don’t

Horrible

This agency needs to be thoroughly investigated and held accountable.
They have stolen money from multiple individuals and consistently fail to support or protect their employees. Their actions are unethical and potentially illegal. If you’re considering working with or through this agency, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Too many people have been taken advantage of, and it’s time for real accountability.

Day-of Shift Cancellations = No Protection for Workers

I’ve used Clipboard Health for months, and the biggest flaw is how they let facilities cancel shifts the same day—after you’ve already committed—and you get nothing for it. Even worse, once you book a shift, you’re locked out of seeing any other shifts at the same time, so you’re stuck.

This has happened to me more than once. I know coworkers who’ve dealt with it too. And while Clipboard claims to offer cancellation compensation, it only applies in very narrow conditions (2 hours or less before the shift), which leaves workers out in the cold most of the time.

Real lives are affected by this. Mothers. Providers. People who planned their day around this work. Clipboard has a responsibility to protect us—not just the facilities.
