Extremely bad company

Extremely bad company, not reliable, no customer service, does not care about customers. I think they should change the name to, Evil Brothers " They scammed me by selling a car which is not roadworthy. Threatened me that if I miss payment then they would mess up my credit rating. Close brothers, their broker, motion finance and their dealership, GT Heritage were all notified of the vehicle defects on the same day of collection. The dealership confirmed this however are closed down now just about a month after selling the car.I cannot drive the car before repairs. Close brothers are reluctant to repair. I asked them to re value the car or take it back and to refund all I paid since November last year, together with my part exchange vehicle.I am still in the dark

Avoid Close Brothers Maintenace Wickford

If Prudential insurance offer to send Close Brothers of Wickford to do your internal repairs - painting, bathroom refitting etc I suggest you refuse and find your own tradespeople.
There were several things I had to call them back to redo including patches of painting with only one coat. But the worst was a shower enclosure so poorly fitted that it was a joke. Several parts supplied had not even been fitted, including top caps and cushioning that stopped the sliding glass door rubbing against the metal frame (which ultimately would have shattered the glass according to Merlyn). Wood screws were used instead of those supplied and they were rusting. There was no silicon where there should have been causing water leaks. Merlyn showers sent an engineer to inspect it and he produced a report. Close Bros refused to take any responsibility after many phone calls and emails and it was so poorly fitted Merlyn scrapped it and fitted me a whole new shower enclosure free of charge!! Merlyn Showering get 5 stars from me and if I could have given Close Bros no stars I would have done. I will never let them in my home again. The bathroom fitters were incompetent, and the company didn’t care. Be warned.
