I am in the hospital and cannot attend today's Wizarding game, but CluedUpp Games was right on it to exchange my ticket for a future event!! Thank you CluedUpp Games for being so understanding and working with me!!!

If I could give less I would..gps failed at every phone we had . Nothing works, and marked for kids but just text with no video or effects or nothing but text . Do not use it...let down.

Awful! So boring and overpriced. Played Beauty and the Beast with my daughter. The advertisements make it look fun and interactive, but you may as well just play a video game at home. My daughter was very disappointed too. I tried to contact customer support for a price adjustment but they never responded. Do not recommend.

If I could give 0/5 I would. My wife and I signed up on the app beforehand for a smooth experience and that is definitely not what we got. At first it wouldn’t let us join the same team. Then on game day it randomly said we were both in the team, but team player count was still 1/6. When we did activities it would cancel as soon as one person completed, or failed the activity (likely because the app thought we were the same person).

After playing for about an hour, the POIs stopped working; meaning we couldn’t continue with the story and eventually quit without finishing. Waste of money, waste of time, and still don’t know who the killer was - 100% will not buy again.

TERRIBLE Customer service.
I bought a Cluedupp game for 20th January and subsequently found out I need an operation and needed to move the date. As I bought the Flex pass, theoretically I can move the date. The web instructions give an email address to contact to request the move.
I emailed on 9th Jan, 15th Jan and again today just before my operation on 17th Jan. ZERO response. And no phone number available to contact anyone.

What a waste of time and money.

Me and my partner did the Crystal Pursuit game in Manchester today and we were very disappointed with the game. You download an app to play game which is quite easy to follow. The app is a gps map helping you to navigate to points on the map where you are give questions through the app to answer. To complete the game you have to visit all the marked points and answer the questions to gain crystals. On our map 2 of the points were inside working businesses one of which we were asked to leave the premises unless we were paying customers. This meant we were unable to complete the game. Only thing I can guess is that this is on purpose to try and get you to spend at these businesses. Their website also makes it look like they have staff that get involved with the games but there wasn’t anything like that. We won’t be using them again.

The mystery solving games are well written and fun to solve. Once you reach the starting point, the game will have quests to follow to gather clues, the quests are fun challenges or games played on the leader, or leaders phones. The game leads you around a designated city area (usually course spans 3 square blocks) it's a wonderful way to spend time with family & friends, and the $$ is very reasonable.
My group also enjoys planning the costumes (optional, but add to the experience) and taking a creative team photo. I highly recommend giving CluedUpp a try!

Essentially, it’s just a game that you play on your phone. There’s no representation from the company what so ever, not even anyone dressed up in the theme, no posters, no characters, nothing! You wouldn’t even realise it’s on apart from seeing other players walking round on their phones. Read the poor reviews as they’re accurate and the good reviews are most probably fake.

I bought this for our daughter in the UK (we live in NZ) and needed some help from the customer service...Katie answered me within minutes and resolved my query...my daughter and her friends are looking forward to the experience.

Great games and great customer service based on the 5 games I've bought under them.

If I could give this game zero stars, I would. I was expecting it to be lame but not this lame. I was expecting that locations in the game would be matched to actual city landmarks, so you would basically be doing a walking tour with a themed twist. The "locations" in the game are not even matched to actual landmarks or really anything in the city, they
are just random spots on the map. So when the app is saying "you see a statue", be prepared to use your imaginations, kids - there is no actual statue. It's very similar to Pokemon Go, but way less fun. Thankfully we got this at a discount, I would have hated to have paid full price for this crap. I feel really sorry for anyone who takes the trouble to dress up in costume to do this. What a complete waste of time. Don't buy this.

We started the game but it took us a while to realise that the clues were virtual and not real. We were looking for actual clues. It made us walk from place to place but didn’t interact with the surroundings so it was all on the phone. Very disappointed by the game and after a lunch stop we gave up walking and just took the penalties to finish the game. Probably won’t play another one.

It's essentially a computer game combined with GPS coordinates. The game is almost completely device based with very little interaction with the real world (other than walking from one spot to another). I was expecting some videos to support the storyline or even some augmented reality of characters superimposed into the location. It said to have our volume up, but did not get any sound (perhaps a setting? But could not find a way to change it).
We got bored early on and ended up taking time penalties to just get to the end of the game. Waste of money, sadly.

I purchased this experience for my daughter and family

We LOVE our CluedUpp adventures! We've done 4 now and had a great time with each of them. The customer service is exceptional- we had an admin issue on a Saturday and had quick email replies despite it being a weekend, that allowed us to do an adventure that we would otherwise have missed out on. It's a great way to spend time with family it a group of mates. We've already booked another one for early next year and we highly recommend them as a fun and alternative way to enjoy a couple of hours.

We had a lot of fun! It was cool to dress up and figure out who the killer was. I liked the augmented reality aspect.

It was a great experience and amazing fun... Hats off to you for arranging this games.. Its fun.
