Good location. Well equipped. Comfortable. Beams in main bedroom need serious dusting otherwise clean and tidy. Front and back doors could do with replacing.
Excellent
The property was in a good location as I was travelling by train and using the local buses to walk on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It was clean and well equipped except no hairdryer or an anti slip mat for the bath/shower. I reported to the agency that the plug in the bathroom sink was faulty. The owner sent someone to look at the problem but it had not been repaired by the day I left the property. I would stay at the property again as I felt safe on my own.
The property was lovely and cosy but some aspects were wanting, but fixable; unfortunately the traffic noise was a problem and I think this should be highlighted in the information section, as it was , at times difficult to sleep. In addition the outside of the property was a little shabby, again easily fixable. we were there for two weeks and we’re not supplied with a change of bed linen, in addition, cleaning supplies were scarce, with only ½ an inch of washing up liquid and one sponge and dish cloth left for two weeks. I’m sure it was an oversight, but the bin in the front bedroom had not been emptied. Again I reiterate the cottage was otherwise lovely, and I am sure there would be a viable reason for the minor details left out.
Overall the property was ok. A lovely little cottage, but definitely a few things to mention - The noise from the pub across the road was very loud most evenings. We needed to open the window as it was lovely weather, it probably wouldn’t have been as bad if the window was closed. 2. There was a nail sticking out of the floorboard and two pairs of socks got scagged and foot was hurt. This was between the front bedroom and the landing area. 3. When we pulled out the dining table to use it was extremely dirty, cobwebs and it looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. 4. The property noted that it had a washing line to use - this was filthy dirty and the pegs were not great either. 5. Multiple items of crockery were dirty and needed to be rewashed. 6. The plug in the kitchen sink was very tricky to use - there was nothing to pull it up with. 7. The draining board in the kitchen was extremely rusted and could do with replacing. 8. The toilet rolls holder needs to be straightened to alleviate the roll constantly falling off when you walk by it. It does seem as though I have made a quite a few negative comments but there is nothing that couldn’t be fixed to make this a 5 star property.
Great location Lovely cottage A bit noisey from the road.
Great location, beautiful cottage, had a lovely time wish we'd booked more than 1week, need to stay longer so much more to see and do in beautiful Pembroke.
