Our stay at ItAfallon was very comfortable with everything you needed. We were able to visit lots of places in Pembrokeshire because of it's location. We would have no hesitation in returning to Afallon and would recommend.
Stayed here many timed. House has a lovely flow to it and views from the rear are great.
The house was clean, warm and comfortable. It was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in Pembrokshire and we holiday a lot in the area. A nice welcome pack greeted us on arrival and there was plenty of information regarding the house in a large file. The back garden was beautiful with mature shrubs and trees and was extremely secure for dogs. The location was ideal to pop into St Davids, Fishguard, Solva and Newgale beach.
What a wonderful house. Had everything that we needed including a super welcome pack. Was lovely to have the garden at the back. The village itself is small and a good 10-15 drive to a town so just bear in mind you will be driving everywhere.
Lovely place to stay, nice and quiet, somewhere you can completely relax. It's pretty central so we can travel north or south within similar times. It's our 4th time staying in Afallon and hopefully won't be our last.
A wonderful home-from-home which was spacious, light, clean and very well-equipped. The boot room and downstairs shower is great when you return with dirty boots and a sandy dog. Furniture in the house and garden is of a good standard and electrical goods excellent. We were super-pleased with the Nespresso machine as we have one at home. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and plenty of spare towels if needed. Some larger dinner plates would be welcome, especially if there were 4 staying. My adult sons would have needed two of the medium plates supplied! We have a small dog and to have a safe, private garden with a lawn was marvellous. One star off for location as it was a drive to the coast but we knew that when we booked. The previous occupant noted in the visitor book that the walk to the coast was difficult so we didn’t attempt it. The welcome hamper was fantastic and the marmalade the best ever! We visited the nearby farm shop for a coffee and further supplies and were made very welcome there. A very prompt response from the company when we emailed to say the lawn needed cutting and the freezer defrosting. Note: Please update details as the village cafe is now closed. A wonderful stay in a beautiful part of Wales and we would certainly consider booking again.
Afallon was a spacious, light, well-equipped house plus some thoughtful safety features and welcome pack and info. It's a short walk from the centre of Mathry, which is a pleasant village and a great base for walking the north Pembrokeshire coast path. We were lucky enough to have a sunny week and so liked the good solid furniture outside placed so that there was always somewhere to catch the sun. The central heating was generous and I'm sure it would be fine to stay in the winter season too. You could hear the traffic on the nearby A487 below, but this wasn't problematic and the general air was of peace and quiet. We are a retired couple but this house would be safe for a family with children too.
My wife and I have stayed at Afallon on several occasions and have always enjoyed it. Wonderful kitchen and cosy bedrooms with a delightful little welcome pack of local goodies on arrival. Only 20 mins from the fantastic St Davids coastline what more do you need.
Second time there and really enjoyed the house. Lovely little welcome pack on arrival. Have booked again for five weeks time.
Excellent
Very disappointed with this property it had black mould on the walls in bedroom and living room cobwebs in every room corner with spiders in them and generally needed a deep clean everywhere looked very shabby from the exterior too so much so that we actually drove past it on arrival as it didn’t look like the photos on website we really couldn’t understand the good reviews in the guestbook and on the website we asked to be moved too another property and was moved but felt we lost 2 days of our holiday due to the issues however the second property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay there

Very comfortable house, great access to the Pembrokeshire coastline. Fantastic views from the kitchen window across the preseli hills. Very happy
Lovely house in a quiet location but close to a pub. The location is perfect for visiting the beautiful beaches, villages and attractions in Pembrokeshire.
Cottage is well equipped and cosy, everything included for a perfect holiday
A comfortable warm cottage but seating poor and shower in bathroom very poor with little flow. Excellent kitchen and with first rate electrical appliances. Overall not quite what would be expected for a four star property.
A very comfortable property in a great location.
Lovely cottage in a good location, good safe garden for our dog. A welcome pack would be a nice touch. Would book again.
