Lovely setting, great bed, clean & comfortable. We have just enjoyed our second week here this year - much too large for just me & 2 spaniels, but we close the unused room doors & enjoy the rest…

The property was clean. The location was peaceful and secluded and a short walk to the beach, which was quiet even in high season. One double bed and one single bed very uncomfortable - I didn't try the others. Some of the other furniture a bit ropey. Disappointed that there were only 3 dishwasher tablets provided (for a party of 7), no spare loo rolls, kitchen paper, foil, bathroom cleaning materials etc, so all a bit 'bare bones' considering the price we paid Although the description said the bungalow was surrounded by lawn, this was only on one side and there was an unguarded drop on to the parking area. Not suitable for very small children. We realised afterwards that Coastal Cottages only post the most glowing reviews for any of their properties, so misleading and not a true representation of their cottages.

Great cottage, loved the location - tucked away and very peaceful yet only a short walk to the beach. Living room and deck were a good space for a family. Bedrooms a little small but very comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Would stay again.

Lovely spot with plenty of room for 6 people. Close to the beach (easy 5 minute walk) with local pub on the doorstep. The house is secluded and quiet, with a nice deck to sit out on and catch the sun in the late afternoon/evening. Kitchen equipped more than adequately, and plenty of space in the living areas and deck. A couple of things that would make it better, some drawer space in the bedrooms ( don’t really know why you need a chair in the bedroom) and let people know to take dishwasher tabs, as 3 is not sufficient for a weeks stay. Overall a really nice home and setting, near to some of the best beaches for families in the country, I would go again.

We had a very good week at Avalon, lucky with the weather. Took a while to work out the kitchen equipment, they were more hi tech than we have at our homes. We had a problem with opening the key box, but nothing to spoil the holiday.

Superb location, property was okay but very well used, could do with a good deal clean, new carpets etc. advertised as enclosed garden, our dog escaped twice once at bottom of garden and underneath gate which has big gap under so couldn’t really use garden as advertised. As for previous views of being a home from home I think this is questionable to what you regard as home from home, would return to the location in a heartbeat but unfortunately not property.
