Lovely cottage, well equipped and very comfy beds. Perfect location for exploring the coast. The Carew Inn next door served lovely food. Would recommend and will book again.

Carew cottage was beautifully clean with very comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms, although the floors upstairs are incredibly creaky. Be aware that as a listed building there is no double glazing so there is a lot of traffic noise at peak times. The kitchen is beautiful but underequipped - there is only one serving dish, making it difficult to make a meal. There was no welcome pack with local information or any of the extras mentioned by other guests in the Visitors Book. Staff at the pub next door were friendly and helpful and Carew castle across the road is stunning - definitely worth a visit! Overall- mixed.

Wonderful little cottage. Near the castle and pub that serves wonderful food, but book in advance as they always seem to be busy. Comfortable beds and a good shower and bath. Well heated so always cosy and welcoming. Nice patio and enclosed area for the dog and a small grass area above. Would highly recommend.

There was a lack of kitchen basics for cooking. No dishwasher or laundry tablets. Otherwise excellent.

We had the best time in Carew cottage it was like home from home, everything we needed and more. The location is amazing with the castle across the road, the pub next door snd most ‘attractions’ about 10 minutes drive away! We will definitely be booking up again for future.
