We have been staying at Castle View for twenty years and would never want to stay anywhere else. The cottage is located in more of a hamlet than a village and therefore very peaceful. The garden attracts wildlife and rabbits can be seen munching on the lawn. Bats fly around at night and the only thing that will potentially wake you up at night will be the hooting of an owl. The cottage is cosy and the beds very comfortable. The central location allows exploration of the coastal paths and beaches in either direction without having to travel for miles. We hope to return for many years to come.

We had such a lovely holiday at Castle View. It’s tucked away in an idyllic country setting with some great walks from the cottage but still within easy driving distance of some fantastic beaches. The cottage is beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a perfect holiday. We’ll definitely be back.

The cottage location is beautiful and the cottage itself looks lovely when you first arrive. But the furnishings were very worn. Crockery was old and tins of paint were under the sink. The cottage had not been cleaned properly with dust and cobwebs behind furniture and the open beams. Both toilets when flushed made an incredible noise which would have been a problem at night. We then saw a mouse and on further investigation mouse droppings in both rooms downstairs. The cottage could be lovely if maintained better. Coastal cottages were excellent in finding us somewhere else to stay for our holiday.

Great location for visiting all of South Pembrokeshire...and good views of the castle and the countryside. Well equipped (although logs for the log burner and hot water for a bath would have been nice), comfortable, parking was a little tight but adequate and two comfortable bedrooms. Would revisit in the summer months to appreciate the beautiful garden.

Great cottage with lovely, private garden. Quiet location with some good walking and cycling from doorstep and fine beaches (eg. Barafundal and Freshwater West) within 30 mins drive. Small village store about 10-15 mins walk delightful shopkeeper!
