A very sweet, well equipped cottage. Upstairs is very tight for four people and feels tired in places. Ideal for a couple.

Cottage is not as advertised. We sent the following (with photographic evidence) but are still awaiting a response. Would not recommend this company. On arrival the cottage smelt terrible, damp and musty. We have had to keep the lounge window open at all times when we are inthe property. There were cobwebs hanging from the corner of the door frame. The decor is extremely tired, in some places the paint is peeling and the skirting boards are broken. In the kitchen, the placement of the boiler over the draining board makes it practically useless for drying dishes. The cupboard under the sink is stuffed full, when you open the door a dirty recycling bin falls out. The pots and pans provided are shabby. The cottage is not big enough for four adults. Comparable sized properties are marketed for two people. The second and third bedrooms only have space for small single beds. There is no storage space in any of the bedrooms (there are some mismatched storage boxes but you may as well keep your things in your suitcase) There are not even hooks on the bedroom or bathroom doors. The main bedroom is not a 'super double bedroom'. It is crammed and has tired bedlinen and a a very soft mattress (which Is suspect is not new) The shower room is not a 'modern shower room'. It is a small, basic room with tired tiles and a cheap shower cubicle. There was no clothes dryer in the property. We found a bit of string that could be pulled across the yard. However, if you used this, you couldn't sit at the table. In summary, the cottage is not a 'super restored property' or 'prettily finished'. It is a very tired, old house in desperate need of redecoration and re-organisation. The photos advertising the cottage are misleading.
