The most wonderful location which is why this was our third visit. The cottage feels so homely and welcoming. Fantastic coastal walks and the Woolen Mill cafe just down the road serves the best coffee and great food.

Lovely cottage - has everything you could want except perhaps a washing line or tumble dryer.
Beautiful location! So near to coastal path and walks straight from the cottage. Great little front garden and such a quiet and peaceful spot. We absolutely loved it!
Lovely cottage in a fabulous location. Basic facilities but that's fine and it was good value. However, the lower than usual rating is because the cottage floors, mats and chairs were filthy, with lots of dog and human hair collected around edges and furniture, and stuck into the carpet, and dead woodlice stuck to the settee edge. We vacuumed on arrival, which should not be necessary. A towel was stained, the downstairs bathroom floor and sills were dirty, and there was a used contact lens in the sink. They need to sort out the cleaning - we noted the property was for sale but that's no excuse.
Second time here this year, this time with family. We absolutely love it and it feels so homely. Still think the cleaning should be to a higher standard. Lots of dust/debris on skirting and under beds.
Lovely house in a superb location. It was let down by standard of cleanliness which was lower than I would expect or allow at home. It felt as though the cleaners didn’t have enough time to do a proper job. Toilet seat was stained and broken but Coastal Cottages were so quick to respond to an email I sent. It was replaced the very next day whilst we were out. Communication with Coastal Cottages was excellent. Overall good value for money and we have booked to return in the autumn. I am hoping that issue with cleaning will have been addressed as it really is a lovely place to stay.
This property is in an idyllic location, infact the walk to the coastline from the cottage is incredible. The cottage is lovely but does suffer from damp & I'm not sure the floor is insulated. The sofas felt damp to sit on and need replacing really as theres little support left in them. The parking is on grass and again it's a nice area but if it's wet you can get stuck there wheel spinning as there's no gravel or paving and with a van thus became tricky. Aside from that, the cottage is really lovely, the 2 bathrooms is a real plus and the beds really comfortable. The cleaning is ok but vaxing under beds was a bit slapdash. There's little cleaning things left so bring dishwasher tablets and a spare bin bag, scourers etc. There's a small conservatory and a little garden which is lovely. If you like peace and solitude and good bird life I highly recommend this cottage. The price is reasonable and I'm sure in the warmer months the damp would be less of a concern but with an asthmatic child this was a problem for us. Despite the damp in warmer months I would stay again as the location is really special and the cottage is a good size & quite charming.
Comfortable cottage and well equipped. As we enjoy walking we found the maps and booklets in the cottage very informative.
