Heather Cottage was a delightful cottage in a great quiet location within easy reach of Nolton Haven and Broad haven. Plenty of space for two of us plus our small dog. Lots of helpful instruction manuals , and kitchen well equipped. Some small maintenance issues which investigated promptly. Overall the cottage would be even better, and warmer, if it had new double glazed windows. The weather was rather cool and windy for the week we stayed. Bed was comfy. As per previous reviews the Shower cubicle was small. Nolton Cross farm shop, a short distance away, was great for fresh bread, wonderful Welsh cakes, delicious homemade cakes and other local items.

Cosy well equipped cottage. Comfortable lounge and bedroom. Food preparation areas well designed and suited the cottage layout. Needed more shelving in bathroom and shower cubicle. A small patio would improve the outside space greatly. Difficult to walk anywhere from cottage itself, couldn't find any footpaths near to cottage. Otherwise a lovely rural location ideal for a quiet stay.

Lovely spacious, well equipped cottage for 2 in a great location for the local beaches. Very dog friendly, a home from home. The only problem was some noisy work going on at the neighbouring cottage for a couple of days but they were polite and gifted us wine and chocolates as an apology for the disruption. I've already recommended it to a friend looking for a holiday bolthole.

Ok situation, but dog hairs still around from previous visitors and cutlery dirty. Remote controls not working, and heater in main room flashed error messages.On stripping the bed before leaving, found a large, unpleasant stain on the mattress cover. Otherwise a well equipped cottage and had a good stay.

A beautifully situated cottage, just a short drive from the Pembrokeshire coast. Well appointed with all the utensils that you are likely to require. The cottage is comfortable, though perhaps a little cool for us (though we did stay there in early March, during a ‘cold snap’). The private and secure front garden area was handy for our dog, and there was sufficient storage space for all clothes and equipment etc. I would love to return in the Summer, when things are brighter and warmer to fully appreciate the cottage and its surroundings. In all, a comfortable and satisfying stay.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Heather Cottage was warm and cosy during our November holiday and is well equipped. We had a lovely relaxing holiday with our two dogs. The location is great for accessing coastal walks and beaches. The only downsides were storage in the bathroom is lacking (nowhere for toiletries in the shower cubicle) and while the kitchen and bathroom were clean there was an accumulation of dust in other areas

Heather cottage’s location is brilliant, it is also very quiet & the bed is comfortable. However the property has seen better days. Everything is old and worn, except the bed. The oven was broken, the hairdryer didn’t work & lots of lightbulbs had gone (and it is a very dark property anyway). The shower was also blocked when we arrived. Coastal cottages were very helpful & someone did come out to confirm the oven was broken & unblock the shower.

Cosy little cottage. In a great spot. When we arrived everything seemed to be fine. But after an hour or so started to find problems. There were cobwebs in all the windows and around the main door!We found cutlery with food still on them! There were water marks all down the main tall in the lounge! The cooker hob extractor and light did not work! The floor had not delivered or swept properly. I think the cottage was cleaned after we left as we did a good clean!! All in all could be a lovely little cottage if the cleaning was to a better standard. I was contacted by the owner who informed me that they had a new house cleaner this season! My advise, change

We have now used Coastal Cottages twice, and each time, have been really impressed with the quality of their cottages. Heather cottage is in a really peaceful location, yet easy to get around. Although part of a complex of other converted properties, it does feel private and the outdoor courtyard area is walled off so you don't feel overlooked. We had a really good week, with a combination of coast path walking, day trips and time around the cottage, reading and relaxing. Only minor point is that some items in the kitchen cupboards were a bit grubby/greasy as if they had been missed in the cleaning, but other than that, everything was great.
