Lovely house, well equipped, v clean and comfortable. Would have appreciated cushions for the outside chairs and the grass/nettle growth around the lake made it v difficult to walk - and in places impassible- especially for children. Appreciated the welcome pack.

Herondale is in an amazing location with a lovely big garden and neighbouring lake to use. House is big with everything you need for a week away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, both for the private lake and the Marloes peninsula, in very quiet area. Property was comfortable but a little tired in some parts, good rear garden overlooking the lake with wooden seating for eating outside but bbq was very rusty. Ensuite shower room was very small. Didn't manage to spot the otter despite some dawn and sunset visits, but there are some large fish in the lake. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay with good exploration around the peninsula.

We have stayed at Herondale several times now. It is comfortable, clean and warm. The situation is great with lovely views of the lake especially in the sun. The location is perfect for coastal path walks. It is quiet and peaceful with a fully enclosed garden for our dog. We would certainly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Have stayed in Herondale a few times and will definitely be returning. Good to stay any time of the year. Finally saw an otter in the fishing lake - a real treat!

Herondale is situated in the most lovely position, it has a beautiful long lawn for the dog with the lakes to the side, very peaceful. thank you for a lovely stay, we had a good relaxing week, in this comfortable cottage, my only comment on cleanliness was the windows was very dirty.
