Fabulous location with sea views. Quiet peaceful cottage, with a beach at the end of the lane. The cottage has everything you need but a new firmer mattress is needed on the double bed.

A great little cottage, with easy access to the sea and village. Road access quite stressful, as lane very narrow on a steep hill, so very difficult to negotiate and park. A lovely location otherwise though! Cottage fine and well equipped, possibly a little tired in places, but would go again. Garden perfect with sea views.

Beautiful location. Superb garden overlooking the Amroth beach, just needs updated garden furniture. Spotless kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs is small as you would expect in an old cottage but perfectly adequate for our needs. Would visit the area again and book Middle Hill Cottage.

Charming period cottage that has been nicely modernised. Good location just above village with coastal view from large garden.. Location good for most but steep, although short, hill from village may put off some walking back from pub etc.

The cottage was clean with plenty of space and an amazing location. We made full use of the lovely garden and its views of the sea - Tenby peeking out over the cliffs in the distance. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to explore the area, and it was the perfect place to come back to from the beach with two sandy boys and their wetsuits - the outside tap and washing line were well used! The kitchen was well equipped, the shower worked nicely and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the cottage had some unpleasant smells which were a bit off putting and made it hard to relax or have a meal inside. Despite it being spotlessly clean, the living and sleeping areas smelt strongly of damp cave, the kitchen cupboards had a musty odour and the oil heater in the bathroom cupboard gave off an oily smell which never completely dissipated - even with ventilation. We called the office about the boiler who reassured us that it was serviced and safe so we kept the bathroom door closed and windows open as much as possible. The smells did ease a little as the week progressed - mostly because we were fortunate enough with the weather to be able to open all the windows when we were there - but never really disappeared. There was also a patch of bright green mould by the front door which was slightly unnerving. This is a lovely cottage in a great location and for the price it would have been perfect for us, but for the smells!

The location is perfect, 5 min walk from the beach. The nice secluded garden makes you think you're in the middle of nowhere, you can see the sea from the bottom of the garden. The layout of the cottage is good, its an old cottage that has been extended. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness, it seemed like it needed a deep clean, there were quite a few places where it hadn't been cleaned, by the side of cabinets and corners etc. All the surfaces and visible areas were clean. We had a great holiday, Amroth is a great location to explore the area.

Middle Hill Cottage was a lovely comfortable property. A cottage built in the 1860's and has been furnished in keeping with the age of the cottage. It was only 10 mins (max) walk down to the beach at Amroth though the walk back might be a little steep if you have difficulty walking. Access to Colby Woodland Garden was also very close to the cottage, definitely worth a visit and although it was National Trust it was free if walking. Driving you had to pay to park. The cottage had a modern kitchen and bathroom with everything you could possibly want to self cater. Amroth itself has 4 pubs, two at least have good food available. Only used the New Inn but could fully recommend its food. A bus service runs from Amroth into Tenby and more, the bus stop was only at at the bottom of the lane too. Coastal cottages kept us fully informed for our visit including details of road closures on our departure day.

Enjoyed our stay. Very private. Lovely to have sea view at bottom of garden. Unfortunately we thought the settee and chairs needed a good clean. Otherwise a good holiday was had. 😊

It’s Hazelbrook cottage we stayed in and I have already sent in my observations by email, the service by Coastal cottages is excellent, but we wouldn’t stay at Hazelbrook cottage again .

Cosy house, private and well placed in a quiet lane by the beach for walks, pubs and the corner shop. Very comfortable with up-to-date facilities. The bathroom being downstairs is a bit nostalgic but not a long walk in the night and not a problem. We had a very pleasant week here - a short drive away are Laugharne, Tenby, Carew, Pembroke, Narberth and other places, all worth a visit.

Excellent well equipped cottage close to all facilities in Amroth. But be aware it is on a single track steep hill. Vehicular access is not easy. Short walk down to the village, pub and beach but very steep climb back!

Most enjoyable stay, as it was only a few hundred yards from the best pub in the village. And of course the sea. The garden was nice to sit in in the evening and the company of squirrels and rabbits was fun. All in all a really good holiday location.

Lovely cottage although we struggled to keep it warm during a cold wet week in February. Some coat hooks or free standing coat stand would be useful by one of the doors. In windy weather the flimsy letter box flap was tapping - a bit unnerving overnight! But location is great - a short hilly walk to/from seafront and a lovely walk to Colby Woodland Garden. Good food at the Amroth Arms, and Tenby, Narberth and the beautiful coast are in easy driving distance.

Poorly managed property. Cobwebs all over the house. Dust on the stairs and thick round the tv. Ill fitting sheets on the twin beds. Food residue on some plates & cutlery. Wrongly assembled caffetiere. Central heating timer wrong by 1day and 6hours. Bulb in lounge alcove light needed replacing. Only 1 bedside light in twin room, the other one inexplicably on kitchen window sill. "Hospitality" basket contained 1 teabag & 3 coffee sachets. Are 2 people expected to share the 1 teabag? Only 1 toilet roll. How mean can you get. Will not recomend. Thank goodness phones now have cameras.

We loved this cottage - comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and so peaceful. Situated in a delightful location with stunning sea views, just a short walk downhill to Amroth sea front, where there are places to eat, a bus service, and a shop. Overall, a great base for exploring this fabulous area, or for just simply chilling out!

This property isn’t moving with the times, been here several times over the years and standard and decor hasn’t altered. Getting poor value for the money.
