Stopped at Salar multiple times and is always a great stay. Well equipped with everything you might need. Lovely quiet location. Just worth pointing out that as of summer 2026 a rear extension is being built (although no builders were present during our stay) - looks like the externals have been completed, so the rear lawn area is a bit the worse for wear. Not sure how this will affect the property holiday rental going forwards.
This was a lovely cottage and very well equipped. Ideal location for walking although about 3 miles by car before ypu could get anywhere else. Lovely walks through wood to estuary and some amazing views. A beautiful part of a county I thought I knew well. Freshwater West a new find for me with a huge virtually deserted beach to explore.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location. We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and the whole cottage very comfortable. Very good stock of staples(condiments etc.) in the kitchen. Lovely bathroom. I gave 4 stars because the only thing lacking is a view but I am being picky and would gladly stay here again.
Beautiful property, beautiful location, quiet and private. A good base for walking and exploring.
