We paid full price (£688 - altho' this was reduced for other weeks to £550), the house was cold on arrival - 17 degrees. ( It was mid April and though sunny it was very cool weather). Apparently owners control heating by app, heating appeared to be minimal and we were never warm. Coastal Cottages did their best and provided 3 plug in radiators which warmed the living room from late afternoon and evening on the Monday but then the upstairs heating cut out completely so the bedrooms were very cold. Furniture was "tired", the 2 armchairs having little filling left in the seats and cane arms on the chairs were badly damaged. TV needed more instructions - one remote control didn't seem to work anything. One set of kitchen lights didn't work. It was not a relaxing stay and we cut our losses and left for home on the Tuesday morning.

The Old Post Office Llanrhain was well positioned for walking the Pembrokeshire National Park. Sadly it was very cold in the cottage when we arrived and took a long time to get to a comfortable level and to keep it so. A starter pack of logs or coal would have been helpful. The ensuite shower was very badly designed and difficult to use. The quality and size of towels was poor.

In a chilly June unable to boost heating. Pillows too hard. High sided bath in larger bedroom made it difficult to get in/out for bath or shower. Also would benefit from anti-slip mat.

Unfortunately the property had not been hoovered when we arrived and the carpets were v dirty, although the kitchen was v clean. However, a lovely lady from Coastal Cottages gave it a thorough hoover after we arrived. There was also a strong smell of damp on entering the cottage and mould growing on the walls in the bathroom, and paint peeling away in other rooms in the cottage. I know old properties are liable to be damp but if you are renting it out, the problem really needs to be addressed! Other than that the cottage was well equipped and it was lovely to have milk, Welsh cakes and wine left for our arrival.

Good location, the restaurants - Shed, Sloop and local Coastal Pizza at the neighbouring campsite are ideal. Local coastal walks are good including Strumble head which is recommended. All in all a good product in a good location. Will almost certainly return.

This is a really lovely house - probably one of the best we have stayed in. A spacious house in a lovely peaceful location with plenty of local information provided. We would 100% recommend it A couple of small points - it could have been cleaner (quite a bit of dust and also dog hair stuck to skirtings, some of the fabric placemats were dirty) Also a radio would be a welcome addition. Lastly it would be good to have mattress protectors that stayed on all night But these small things aside it really is a lovely house and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would love to revisit

Lovely cottage, kitchen very well equipped. Amazing location, walking straight from the door. No phone signal at the cottage was the perfect break to have some peace and fun family times. We would stay again at this cottage.
