Fabulous location, though would have awarded 5 stars if the tower was accessible, indeed would consider rebooking if this was opened up. The lounge also felt somewhat overcrowded with seating for seven, for what in effect was a one bedroomed dwelling. Jacuzzi bath was a real bonus.
fantastic location brilliant veiws
This was our second visit to the unique Rocket Carthouse, which has been improved by new windows, that kept us cosy and draught-free, in spite of the wild and windy weather during our stay. The accommodation is quirky, comfy and well-equipped. The Hive went down and the gas ran out, but these inconveniences were dealt with effectively and pleasantly by the office staff, who inspired our confidence with their excellent customer service. The views are spectacular, West Angle beach is the best, and there’s always plenty to do in the area. Highly recommended.
Fabulous stay, comfy and warm. Close to amazing beaches. Remote but not far from a decent shop. Very relaxing.
Location perfect,suited what we were looking for,the only complaint,the property needed a good dusting,and the bannister going up the stairs,at the corner was loose and could have caused a fall down the stairs.I repaired that for you free of charge 👍

Rocket Carthouse is situated in an amazing place with stunning views. The accommodation is very cosy homely. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bathroom is very modern and spa bath an added bonus. Plenty of books, dvds and games available. If you want a total break away from everything it is perfect. I marked it down slightly on cleanliness as the living area was dusty, there were clumps of dogs hair on the floor and also someone's socks on one of the sofas!!

We have stayed in the Rocket Carthouse a few times and the location and facilities are brilliant. We did feel this time that it needs a thorough clean.
The house was satisfactory but for the price I expected more. The front door was quite difficult to lock. The boiler stopped working during our stay down so whilst we had a dishwasher and the downstairs shower we couldn't use the upstairs shower or the jacuzzi bath. The downstairs shower was not consistent in maintaining water temperature and the water turned cold several times during a shower. The location is great and Pembrokeshire is beautiful but the issues with the house left us feeling disappointed, rather than relaxed.

Excellent accommodation situated right on the headland with reaching veiws over freshwater west. Clean, tidy and perfect for us
The staff at Coastal Cottages are exceptionally helpful, cheerful and welcoming. They will go out of their way to make your stay at this lovely property the best ever. The house and the area will captivate you and draw you back for more visits.
Lovely house, well worth a stay
We so enjoyed our week at 'The Rocket', thank you. The added bonus of a newly fitted bathroom was a lovely surprise. Had everything we needed. A small negative would be how uncomfortable the pull out bed is & the early departure time of 9am. Thank you again
It was our first visit to the Rocket Carthouse - a quirky, characterful property, with great views of Freshwater West beach from the upstairs bedroom and the Milford Haven bay to the rear. The kitchen was very well equipped and the property was lovely and warm - we stayed in November. However, the property needed a good deep clean in the lounge and bedroom; a quarter full loo roll for 2 loos was stingy!; not surprisingly there was no mention of the closeby power station; the bedding and bathroom was dated.

The cottage was perfect for a quiet vacation. We especially loved the reading book with the beautiful view of the bay. Also great that it was at a walkable distance from the coastal walk path.
The perfect house in the most amazing location! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay so close to the beach!
