The cottage is in a wonderful location, overlooking Whitesands Bay. It is only a few minutes from the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. We spent the whole week walking the path all around the peninsular and didn't use the car once. The scenery is spectacular and unspoilt. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed

We love the Roost and had a lovely week there. We've been to the Roost a number of times. It's just great to sit on the upper terrace and take in the view. Good to see the potholes in the track have been filled, and the water pressure is fine now. We'll be back for more.

We stayed over February half term and had a most wonderful stay in this cosy barn conversion. The views from the top garden were fabulous and we watched sunsets here. The house was warm and cosy and we loved the wood burner for the colder nights. Coastal Cottages staff were fabulous when we needed them, very friendly and very helpful.

Lovely cottage, clean, beautiful views, warm. Struggled with heating as timer was set on wrong time and there was no heat in tbe morning so had to switch onto 'on' rather than auto -more detailed info would have been useful. Recycling was confusing -only 1 waste bag for food waste so as we generated quite a lot of veg peelings (we cooked from scratch) we ran out of bags - there was a lot of rubbish by the bins and although we collected recycling in one bag we had to buy bin liners to put rest of the recycling in. No indication of where to put glass so ended up taking it home. We were asked to take recycling to household waste site -this required an appointment which we didnt really want to do on holiday. A list of what to bring would have been useful -ie teatowels (only 1 provided )dish washer tablets (only 3 provided)and loo rolls -(only half of one provided) Door handle to twin bedroom didnt work so we nearly locked ourselves in! Apart from these "niggles" (and the rain!) we had a grest time there and would recommend it.

Didn’t enjoy the sloping ceiling in the main bedroom, knocking yourself out every time you got out of bed! Also didn’t appreciate the toilet being down a flight of stairs. Real pity the orange roof is the only view from the living room. No coffee percolator on the list but two provided! Otherwise a really good little cottage.

The location and setting are idyllic. Cleaning standards need improving. There was regular wood louse around. It’s a little tired internally but cosy. Views are amazing. There are no bin facilities or recycling provision. The next door house let their dog run free and it toileted outside our door on two occasions. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Wonderful place to discover the coast, breathtaking Views, Just 5 minutes by foot to White Sands, yet so quiet you get to sleep by the Sound of the Waves. For a Future stay we would appreciate bath towels.

A lovely place to stay with beautiful views over Whitesands Bay and the beach from both the living room and the seating area above the house in the garden. Easy to walk from the house to nearby sandy coves at Porthselau and Porthmelgan - both of which you can take dogs to year round - as well as Whitesands itself. Carn Llidli is quite rugged so a bit more challenging to reach the top. The kitchen stayed lovely and cool even during a bit of a heatwave. Good internet and mobile reception at the house.

Had a bit of trouble with the sloping ceilings - my husband is 6’3”! Was a bit frustrated by the shed opposite blocking the view. The property was very well presented & comfortable. Good location near Whitesands beach. PS couldn’t work the toaster!
