Stunning location, I couldn't stop looking out of the doors/windows. We had a few niggles with the cottage such as no pint glasses, needing more towels, confusion with recycling but nothing serious. Overall we had an amazing holiday. If taking older children I would advise that the twin beds are not very comfortable as the mattresses sit on solid wooden bases.

This is a great location for walkers and water sports enthusiasts, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to outdoor activities. However, it's worth noting that shops, pubs, and other amenities are at least a couple of miles away. I felt the cottage itself is small but cosy — ideal for couples. The bathroom has been nicely renovated, although the shower pressure is quite weak, which can make for an uncomfortable experience if you're after a proper shower. One small issue regarding the service: we were informed on arrival that the hot water tap in the kitchen wasn’t working, and were told it would be looked at the next day. Unfortunately, no one followed up or contacted us about it during our stay. While it didn’t have a major impact on our trip, I think it's important to mention as a matter of principle.

Lovely cottage in fabulous location. Perhaps a little expensive for 4 beds. Loss of the drier facility (previously had washer drier) is a shame and the fridge is small, otherwise well appointed. My husband thought the sofas could be more comfortable. Recommended for kayak access and coastal path.

A lovely comfortable cottage in a spectscular setting. Could essily have stayed another week. A ve ry enjoyable stay, thank you. A great coastal walk to Trefin and a pub lunch , memorable.

Fantastic location in Abercastle, views to die for. Easy parking. Cottage well equiped, clean and warm with under floor heating. Good TV (we were there during the World Cup). The only thing letting it down a little is the chair and setee were not comfy. Otherwise it would be 5 star.

A beautifully renovated cottage in a perfect location for the beach and the coast path. We’ve often stayed in this property and thought the renovations were modern, yet sensitive. The cottage was well equipped, warm and comfortable. The sea view is amazing and parking a real asset. We’ll definitely be back
