Lovely cosy cottage, excellent beds and heating, beautiful and clean inside and out, very well equipped, excellent upstairs bedroom for teenagers, beautiful inglenook fireplace in lounge, only 5mins from coast path. We loved it.
Very comfortable, everything you need and in a very quiet location. The only downside was debris coming from the skylight windows in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom. We had to clean the bits off each day. Some things looking a bit "tired" and maybe needing refreshing.
Very comfortable and homely. Glad to be back!
Thoroughly delightful.
Wonderful in every way
The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and in a beautiful location. We stayed during a very cold spell at night. There were a couple of blankets in addition to duvets but one more would have been appreciated.
Home from home comfort and cleanliness. Well served by an interconnecting local bus service so with a little bit of planning its easy to do one way walks of several sections of the coast path from what otherwise feels like a remote and beautiful location.
Our fourth visit. For us and our dog the location and the cottage is ideal.
Comfortable and in a good location for coastal walks.
A very comfortable cottage in a great location for walking the coast path.
Very comfortable and well looked after cottage. Everything is decent quality including an excellent internet connection. The feel is of a remote, rugged cottage in a remote rugged place ... but the truth is that it's only a 'slow' 15 minute drive into Fishguard. I used the cottage as a base to walk sections of the Coast Path. I think that the stretch from Whitesands to Strumble Head is superb. And the cottage is not much more than 300m from the path itself. The new Fleccsi bus service is OK and well worth using (the drivers are great) but whether you download the app to book or book via the helpline its a bit of clunky process. That said it's there for us and I made use of local busses on four of the six days that I walked. I had a great week and the cottage was pretty much the perfect base for me.
We loved our week at Ty Uchaf cottage and the cottage grew on us daily so we were quite sad to leave. Stunning location - a 10 minute walk to the coastal path but our favourite walk was up Garn Fawr the crag directly behind the cottage through meadows and horse fields. Really comfortable beds and great shower - small things which mean a lot. A small welcome pack would have been appreciated on arrival as the cottage is remote. Our neighbours on site had a Tesco delivery on arrival and lent us some milk. The three bed room upstairs was charming and much loved by our daughter. Lovely stay and we hope to return.
Great property would have preferred a more open view facilities very good
