Beautifully quiet, and located within a few minutes walk of the coastal path. Well equipped, with very comfortable bed, and plenty of different places to sit and relax.

Cottage in a very peaceful location on Strumble Head with easy access to the coast path. Our third visit to this comfortable and well presented property. The sun room/reading room is a particularly lovely feature, as is the sizable grassed garden area.

I wasn't going to review this cottage because it was just OK but nothing special. However Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire invited me to so I will. The cottage was clean enough but very time-worn. Stained tables, black mould around some window reveals and discoloured stone due to damp penetration in the bathroom. The kitchen was very awkwardly placed at the end of the living room and the kitchen units and worktop have seen far better days. They need replacing. Having said that the garden room with the view over Garn Fawr is a lovely place to sit and the location of the cottage is excellent. There is some overlooking from two adjoining cottages into the main bedroom and dining area although we were lucky that neither of these were occupied. Also the main bedroom is a 'walk-through' between the living room and the garden room which could be embarassing. Whilst staying there we had 4 devil's coachmen (nasty black beetles) appear in the second bathroom probably crawling up the shower drain and heading towards the bedroom. So overall not that great. I bet this review won't appear on Coastal Cottages website which is anothe point of contention. Sykes Holidays whom we normally use always publish reviews whether good or bad which makes their 'customer ratings' a valuable source of information however it seems that CC of P only use the good ones. Very misleading

The most wonderful holiday location and charming, comfortable cottage. Have been before and will go again. Only slight disappointment was absence of promised dvd player but this was a minor item. Everything else, pretty much perfect

This was my second stay at Ty Uchaf Mill and will not be my last. The Mill is very comfortable and well equipped. The location so close to the spectacular Pwll Deri cliffs is ideal for me and my dogs.

A lovely traditional cottage in a quiet location ideal for walking on the coast path . It is homely and well equipped . The view from the garden to the neighbouring rock outcrop is wonderful and also lambs in the field . Plenty of books to read and to help with walking . We had amazing sunny warm weather . We saw seals, lots of sea birds and many wildflowers..

Ty Uchaf is cosy and very well equipped. The sun room at one end is a delightful place to relax. Everything works well. The garden is spacious and well kept. There is a wealth of information in the cottage on local walks , eateries and places of interest. Some may find the location a little remote, with very Barrow lanes to be negotiated to reach St David's or Fishguard, but the latter is only about 15 minutes away and has a very good co-op supermarket. The huge plus of the location is that it's 5 minutes walk from a really spectacular part of the Coast Path, and of course a short walk from Garn Fawr, a mini-mountain with a stupendous view. Highly recommended.

Great location with access to footpaths and Coastal Path. A cosy cottage and dog friendly. Was surprised there was no note of welcome etc as when I have previously booked through Coastal Cottages there has been a welcome note with milk/biscuits or wine etc The proximity of another property behind would have been intrusive if it had been occupied.

Excellent location - remote yet a few miles from Fishguard - very quiet and dark at night. Traditional Welsh cottage with pleasant sun room attached. Any quibbles were very minor.
