Accommodation was tired, dirty broken shower cord, storage heaters not working but it was warm enough with oil heaters but bathroom did not warm up. Wi-Fi did not work for first 2 days and then had to go outside on decking to get signal.

Brilliant location. Instructions for use of shower needed. Bathroom needs sprucing up. Cooker could do with replacing. Oven not clean. No bread knife. Additional chopping boards needed. No serving spoons. No cork screw. Some of the furniture (bookcase) was tired. Overall it was comfortable and had a great location which made up for minor niggles. Not sure how recently it was cleaned but paintwork around windows and skirting boards were definitely needing attention.

The cottage is in a stunning location and well equipped, ideal for a summer holiday when the weather is good. It would be best to be friendly with anyone booking the adjacent cottage as sound proofing between the two units is basic. The sofa is very uncomfortable and needs replacing. I was however not happy with the service from Coastal Cottages on this trip. The WiFi went down on the Wednesday morning, I reported it to the office at midday. By late the next morning I had heard nothing and phoned them, to be told they couldn't contact the owner. I assume the issue was eventually rectified, but I actually needed to do some work on line and had to come home early. I have had no apology from Coastal Cottages. I am disappointed at the lack of communication and will use another company in future.

Unfortunately the cottage was not very clean. Cupboards were dirty and I found a dog's toy under the sofa where it was dusty. The quality of fittings and furniture was poor. I hung my coat up on the coat rack and it fell off the wall. The bedroom was better. Linen provided was good quality. The location was beautiful.
